• Handle full set accounts for the clients, including preparing accounting advice
• Knowledge of Singapore compliance laws with ACRA, IRAS and CPF Board
• Ensures compliance with accounting standards, policies, regulations, and internal controls
• Facilitating corporate changes, such as, change of company officers, registered address, bank signatories, etc and related ACRA lodgements
• Partner key divisions in strategic and operational financial planning
• Drive financial performance to achieve value-for-money outcomes through financial advisory and decision support in project planning, procurement, contract awards and management.
• Managed a portfolio of clients for full sets of management accounts, consolidation package and financial statements
• Build strong internal cross-functional relationships within the company.
• Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.
• Requirements:
• Degree in Accounting/Finance, ACCA or CA Singapore or equivalent
• Meticulous, multitasking and able to work independently
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in a professional accounting or corporate services firm preferred
• Strong communication skills in both English and Mandarin to liaise with client/colleagues

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Intern will be working together with our Client Service Managers and Executives to provide bookkeeping and finance services to our clients. The work requires a high level of efficiency, accuracy, and responsibility. A positive attitude, eagerness to learn and ability to work in a team are essential qualities.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with bookkeeping and preparing month-end financial reports

Assist with audit queries

Assist with payroll preparation/cashier duties

Assist with research, filing, data entry, and recording and maintaining accurate and complete financial records

Support volunteers with accounting/client-related queries

Be present at and assist with company events

QUALIFICATIONS

Applicants should have taken and passed the basic financial accounting module

Applicants should have a good understanding of basic accounting principles and Microsoft Office applications

Preferably, they should also have prior work experience in accounting. This can be from previous accounting related internships

Excellent communication skills, and being an independent worker are all essential to this position.

OTHER INFORMATION

The internship is for both full-time and part-time, available from June. Preference is full-time for 6 months.

A part-time intern must commit to at least 2 full work days a week, preferably 3. The minimum internship period is 3 months.

• Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the department
