Requirements

1. Tertiary education (Degree or Diploma) in relevant field is preferred.
2. Minimum 4 years of relevant experience required.
3. Relevant web application experience.
4. Identify app security lapses in a system and mitigation methods.
5. Familiar with technologies like SAST, DAST or IAST.
6. Familiar with security testing tools like Burp, ZAP, Nessus, Fortify SCA, CheckMarx, etc.
7. Define app security practices for one or multiple systems/applications.
8. Analyse scan results and address possible app security loopholes and threats.
9. Anticipate and prepare for the next evolution of app security testing trends.
10. Develop techniques to ensure development teams find flaws before they are introduced into production.
11. Lead software security initiatives, eg bug bounty program.
12. Oversee the security posture of web applications.
