The Operations Manager is responsible for building a team of high-performing Supervisors in a fast-paced fulfillment environment. This role is responsible for delivering and executing daily and short-term plans to achieve operational and business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple Fulfillment Supervisors, Warehouse Leads, full-time/temporary associates
• Build and manage a relationship with customers by maintaining regular communication and partnership.

• Manage inventory claims process and support inventory loss investigations.

Qualifications

Education/Experience

• High School diploma/GED required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field preferred
• Must have at least 5-7 years of leadership experience preferably in a fulfillment operation or distribution environment; Prior supervisory experience in a fulfillment operation is preferred
• Must have experience with an Order Management System, Warehouse Management System, and/or Labor Management System. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Ability to adjust strategy on the fly while functioning in a high-stress environment to obtain operational goals

• Follow up on open activities
• Obtain premium finance quotes
• Obtain flood zone determinations and NFIP quotes where applicable

Automated Laboratory - Operations Manager - Full Time - Days

As the Automated Laboratory - Operations Manager, you will provide day-to-day oversight of laboratory operations, take ownership of directing the Lab’s Automated Laboratory operations and support the entire laboratory division. Manage and supervises clinical operations of clinical laboratory department(s) of Chemistry and Hematology. Work with the Laboratory Director to coordinate a wide variety of administrative, technical, fiscal, and educational activities to provide quality laboratory services. Collaborate across multi-disciplinary groups representing the clinical labs. Organize, develop, plan, and implement Section and Departmental goals, objectives, policies, and procedures necessary for providing quality patient care. Thrive on the leading edge of clinical laboratory advancement, at one of the most respected centers in your field.

The schedule for this position is Monday – Friday. Must be available to respond off hours for emergency cases.

Preferred Criteria:

• Master's Degree preferred
• American Society for Clinical Pathology Certification (ASCP) or equivalent ​
• Experience managing a clinical laboratory team in a large hospital organization 

Required Criteria:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist License from New York Education Department
• Must meet current NYS and CAP requirements for a laboratory supervisor
• Minimum of 4 years of clinical laboratory experience or 2 years of clinical laboratory experience with Master’s degree or 1 years of experience with a MD, DO or doctoral degree in a chemical, physical or biological science
• Minimum of 5 years of management experience including regulatory aspects of practice
