The Role
At CoStar Group, the Field Research team plays a critical role in capturing data that supports all CoStar Group products. Whether capturing information around a new state of the art office building or canvassing an existing neighborhood, our research brings significant value to the real estate industry. Reporting to the Senior Director of Field Operations, we are looking for a Director of Field Research who will lead and inspire a management team responsible for a growing team of world class researchers. This individual’s mandate will be to ensure timely delivery of quality content consisting of data and imagery across our products. They will need to bring a strong operational mindset and leadership to the position. This role will be based out of our Richmond, VA office.
Responsibilities:
Lead a team of field managers and individual contributors with a strong operational mindset to ensure individual metrics and quality standards are being met.
Develop and recruit strong operational leadership to support the growing organization.
Coach and develop managers and individual researchers to drive success.
Lead on-boarding and training programs that focus on driving integration of new team members and the on-going development of researchers and managers.
Ensure operational metrics are being met by teams and provide feedback to the team.
Strategize to overcome operational challenges and provide on-going and real time feedback to managers and team members.
Focus on continuous improvement of workflows and processes to drive optimization and innovation.
Collaborate with Product, Research, and IT departments to deliver the most accurate data possible on behalf of our customers.
Qualifications:
Bachelors required and Masters preferred.
5-8 years of experience leading large-scale dispersed teams (50+) against deadlines and deliverables
Proven track record driving accountability with managers and leading in a metric driven organization.
Demonstrated ability to operate in fast paced environment with high creative and delivery standards.
Ability to collaborate across functional areas to deliver assignments.
Passion and interest in real estate as plus

Postdoctoral Fellow - Oncology
What you will do
Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role you will perform an independent research project that will help contribute to the development of human therapeutics. The Postdoc will train under Dr. Andrew Holland and other leading scientists in the field at our global headquarters and research site in Thousand Oaks, California.
We are looking for highly talented, self-motivated individuals passionate about science and making high-impact discoveries in Oncology. The postdoctoral fellow will explore the biology underpinning oncogenic dependencies with an initial focus on dysregulated Wnt/β-Catenin signaling in colorectal cancer. The postdoctoral fellow will take a multi-disciplinary approach combining chemical biology, molecular biology, cell biology, and functional genomics.
The successful candidate will have access to Amgen’s innovative technologies and innovation and be expected to make exciting scientific contributions to the field, present at scientific conferences, and publish their work. Postdocs will be a part of the broader R&D Postdoc Program that focuses on training the next generation of industry scientists. Senior Manager, Inflammation MSLs
What you will do
Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role you will support the Inflammation MSL team and report to the Executive Director Field Medical. The Sr. Manager will partner with Inflammation Leadership to advance organizational strategies and goals. The Sr. Manager will lead and drive the overall strategic needs for the MSL Therapeutic Areas as designated by the Therapeutic Area MSL Lead.
Assist with implementation and execution and serve as the direct point of contact for the Medical Value and Access team and IDN strategy for the TA MSLs including tracking and reporting KPIs and insights to senior leadership.

Senior Medical Science Liaison

This is a field-based position for the Cardiometabolic Senior Medical Science Liaison (CVM Sr MSL) therapeutic area within the US Medical team. The territory is Manhattan.
Educate and communicate clinical value, outcomes, and economic data to payers, providers, key stakeholders, advocacy, and access enablers
Provide in depth clinical and economic support to payers, IDNs, and formulary committees, providing feedback to key internal stakeholders on customer trends in interpreting and using value evidence, reimbursement, and payer policy. May serve as main medical point of contact at prioritized local payer, regional payer, and IDN accounts
Respond to unsolicited inquiries consistent with the MSL compliance standards
Provide and/or present field observations and insights to internal stakeholders
Implement scientific engagement plan according to annual MSL goals and metrics
Develop and implement local OL plans in line with SEP
Support speaker training as requested and ensure the speakers are updated on new data
Support Amgen sponsored research and may serve as a study lead

Lead and/or participate on project teams that support MSL strategies and tactics as delegated by MSL leadership
Lead and support congress activities as aligned with strategy. May serve as congress lead

The position is for 3 years, with the option to extend for an additional year. The Role
As a Field Research Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing a team of full-time researchers capturing data that supports CoStar Group products. CoStar Group researchers collect data, research, and imagery on assigned commercial properties to capture the features and highlights of each building. As a Field Research Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that researchers are always meeting both production and quality standards. Meeting deadlines for our internal clients is a critical part of your responsibilities. Working in the field with each of your researchers throughout the month to ensure best practices are implemented and provide coaching and mentoring is required. This role will be based in market.
Responsibilities:
Build, train, mentor, and coach a growing team of 8-10 professional field researchers.
Daily review of the team’s production measured against KPI metrics.
Spend quality time in the field with local and regional team members to demonstrate best practice with data collection, time management and overall efficiency.
Review incoming data and imagery to determine its quality relative to standards and guidelines.
Provide constructive and actionable feedback to team members to meet both production and quality expectations.
Create action plans to help team members grow, succeed, and maintain their engagement.
Professional and effective communication with employees and internal partners to meet company objectives.
Frequent travel within your region, and some travel to the Richmond, VA office is required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited, not-for-profit University or College
3-5 years’ direct operations management of 6+ employees, virtual management a plus
Leadership and management skills, including the ability to prioritize and control the workload of a team, coaching, and mentoring through professional development.
Experience with creating and managing effective KPIs, along with meeting performance metrics and being results-oriented.
Ability to work in a collaborative setting.
