JOB DESCRIPTIONS

• Establish & build relationships/connections with banks & credit unions to secure best loan facilities and smooth approval process.
• Lead and manage the accounting team, including overseeing day-to-day operations and providing mentorship and training.
• Assign and review work to ensure quality and efficiency within the team.
• Manage and oversee the company’s tax compliance, CAPEX and OPEX, including the preparation of corporate tax returns and ensuring adherence to Malaysian tax laws.
• Coordinate with tax advisors on any tax-related matters.
• Responsible for coordinating with external auditors, tax consultants, bankers, creditors, debtors, government authorities, and other relevant parties on financial and accounting matters.
• Monitor cash flow to ensure liquidity for day-to-day operations on monthly basis for every project.
• Supervise payments, collections, and banking activities to maintain financial stability.
• Identify opportunities for improving financial processes and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the accounting function.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of financial reports in compliance with bank.
• Present financial results to senior management and recommend improvements.
• Oversee the general ledger and ensure all accounting entries are correctly recorded.
• Ensure all reconciliations (bank, intercompany, etc.) are completed on time.
• Ensure adherence to financial regulations and internal controls.
• Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and implement recommendations to improve financial processes.
• Conduct financial analysis and prepare reports to support strategic business decisions.
• Analyze trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations to forecast future revenues and expenses.

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
• Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to direct and supervise.
• In-depth knowledge of Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and tax regulations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, or MIA are highly preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in accounting or finance field.
• Proactive attitude, analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to work in a small team under minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications and Skills

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

主要職責

Financial Closing

• Perform monthly and yearly financial closing – to ensure all information are proper recorded.
• Perform Balance Sheet reconciliation on monthly basis – to ensure the accuracy and properly classified of transactions.
• Responsible for recharges to and from intercompany.

Account Payables

• Ensure that expenses allocation to business unit and complied with Company Policies and Local regulation.
• Payment process – assembling and verifying the accuracy as well as the completeness of supporting documents of Suppliers’ Invoice with Purchase Order and Delivery Order in procurement system, prepare Payment Vouchers in accounting system and perform payment in the bank electronic payment system on a timely manner to avoid any late payment charge.
• To be the contact point for the vendors on day-to-day financial related issues including reconciliation of the vendors’ ledgers.
• Procurement analysis – to ensure purchases are in accordance to procurement policies and follow up on status of goods received and invoice from vendors.

Contract Management

• Contract management – to ensure compliance with procurement policies.

Others

• Continually update SOPs, check and balance actions, identify and drive accounting and finance process efficiencies and improvements.
• Assist in handling cash flow management, audit and tax matters and liaise with relevant authorities and bodies.
• Involvement and support in projects including accounting related system upgrade or customization, procurement and yearly sub-actions.
• Any ad-hoc duties as and when required.

Tasks:

• Prepare debtor’s template before attending the debtor’s meeting
• Record what was discussed in the debtor’s meeting and send out the template after the meeting
• Coordinate with stakeholders to clear stuck document in the system especially by end of the month
• To handle internal/external customer (include support VN team) inquiry
• Support the VN team with unidentified incoming payment and payment advice

Projects:

• Ensure all invoices successfully transmitted to Tax authority portal in SAP system – monitor Edoc interface
• Support e-Invoice testing by checking eXtensible Markup Language (XML) structure in SAP

Tasks:

• To perform Processing Invoices with Smart Automation (PISA) & Accounts Payable Monitor (APM) invoice scanning for Robert Bosch in Petaling Jaya and Bosch Rexroth.
• To perform self-billed E-invoicing reconciliation & checking 
• To check & release credit note for specific department (MA-SMY)
• To handle department incoming & outgoing mails
• Assist with ad-hoc tasks assigned by the manager
