• Performs specific and moderate portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer.
• Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures.

We are seeking a talented and motivated Graduate Engineer, Structural to join our dynamic team in Bukit Damansara, Malaysia. As a recent graduate, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, develop your skills, and contribute to the design and analysis of various structures.

• Assist in conducting engineering design under the supervision of experienced engineers
• Create designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings

• Provide overall on-site administrative and technical management for a wide range of construction projects. 
• Responsible for the organization and direction of construction and related activities within assigned area of responsibility, which may be a single area, multi-area or a multi-discipline construction project. 
• May be the primary client contact for all jobsite day to day activities, or may coordinate with client’s resident representatives on jobsite activities within assigned area of operations. 
• Responsibilities are to ensure assigned jobsite operations are in compliance with design/specifications, completion on schedule, within budget and to quality standards. 
• Interfaces with all other administrative field staff, field management staff and particularly the Project Manager in a coordinated effort.

• Participate in development of business, sales planning, and growth strategies and develop Sales Proposal with sales pipeline to meet budget

• Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential customers by attending networking activities, conduct marketing activities, customer meetings, proposal development and customer presentations to deliver outstanding customer value

• Maintain awareness of competitor information and participate in industry association in accordance with company policy

• Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, product management) to develop proposals and present solutions that meet client needs.

• Ensure business sustainability via balancing of sales, profitability and collection.

Relationship Management & Account Management

• Develop and manage relationships with key accounts in the industrial automation industry.

• Maintain a deep understanding of customer needs/issues and ensure their satisfaction with solutions provided.

• Regularly engage with clients to assess their requirements and identify upselling or cross-selling opportunities.

• Manage and coordinate with key vendors and partners to gain competitive advantage through creation and development of customer in selected vertical markets.

Sales support

• Collaborate and work closely with Application Engineers to ensure smooth project development & implementation which may include risk assessment and provision of technical solutions to meet customers’ needs

• Manage the sales process to ensure customer requirements are properly qualified prior to investment of resources

• Diploma/degree in Engineering discipline (Mechatronics/Electrical)

• Knowledgeable in Windows applications (Word, Excel, Power Point)

• At least 3-years’ experience in Sales function

• Strong knowledge of automation solutions and their applications

• Excellent Interpersonal and Communication skills

• Experience in distribution sales or a related field is a plus.

• Lead the development of electrical designs, spanning from initial concepts to meticulous detailing. 
• Take charge of creating design calculations, drawings, specifications, and tender documents for design projects. Additionally, review materials prepared by junior engineers. 
• Prepare comprehensive design reports, calculations, drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and project schedules. 
• Execute on-site electrical service surveys with precision. 
• Collaborate with Professional Engineers in establishing connections, preparing, and following up on Authority Submissions.  
• Coordinate with local government departments to secure design project approvals. 
• Foster relationships and coordinate with Clients, Architects, Structural Engineers, Civil Engineers, System Contractors, Civil Contractors, QS professionals, and more to bring electrical building service designs to life, from inception to intricate detailing. 
• Assume the role of Project Manager, overseeing projects from their conceptual stages to their successful completion. 
• Provide guidance and supervision to junior engineers. 
• Assist in the preparation of competitive tenders and bids. 
• Exhibit and offer your technical expertise. 

• Develop electrical designs, covering the entire process from concept to detailed design.
• Take responsibility for the assigned design components, including the necessary follow-up for approval from relevant authorities and clients. 
• Assist in liaising and coordinating with Local Authority Departments to secure approval for design projects. 
• Prepare design calculations, drawings, specifications, and tender documents for design projects under the guidance of senior engineers/managers. 
• Report to the line manager and ensure regular progress updates to the line manager, senior engineers, and project managers. 
• Work under the supervision of senior engineers/supervisors and complete assigned tasks. 
• Participate in progress meetings and workshops for design projects, collaborating with other disciplines. 
• Coordinate with engineers from other disciplines to ensure the seamless continuation of design projects. 
• Take part in the coordination process, including virtual coordination requirements and interfacing with other disciplines. 
• Assist in creating drawings using CAD and BIM Revit models for M&E (Mechanical and Electrical) works in collaboration with the drafting and modeling team. 
• Maintain comprehensive records of all issued and received documents and reports. 
• Regularly manage documents and maintain project directories. 
• Participate in CSD (Coordination Single Document) coordination meetings with other disciplines and modelers, identifying and distributing CSD/SEM (Structural, Electrical, and Mechanical) issues accordingly. 
• Follow up with the project team on CSD and BIM model updates. 
• Provide support to the Project Team for presentations involving BIM models and related activities.
