ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Budget, Performance, and Inventory Management

• Responsible for the translation of financial goals into OTB plan (revenue, margin, discount, inventory) based on insights learned from business analysis

• Act as the financial owner & risk-assessor of all markdown strategies; lead and drive all sale events

• Collaborate with retail and digital teams in fine-tuning distribution plans for achievement of base inventory & stock cover goals; plan necessary actions to optimize inventory efficiency

• Manage the distribution of stock, liaising between Business Intelligence, Marketing Intelligence, Operations, stores, suppliers, and franchisees. Control stock levels based on forecasts for the season. Be the Owner of Seasonal Buy Review, elaborating Pre-Buy assumptions vs. post-buy actuals, suggest and lead continuous improvement plan

• Analyse data on revenue, margin, and new launches performance; initiate strategies in response to sales trends to improve profitability

Support to Commercial Functions (across channels):

• Support product team in defining seasonal assortment range plans & assortment productivity goals

• Drive data driven culture in Operations team by partnering with data team on improving data accessibility

• Monitor department KPIs on a weekly basis (i.e. sell-through rate, discount rate, revenue target, stock cover)

• Lead the team to prepare weekly analysis to identify the Operations team’s current standing and recommend measures that should be taken

• Seasonal review on buying accuracy with the Buying team, identify the strengths and weaknesses of the buys and suggest areas of improvement

• Provide proactive support to all teams across planning, performance review and during online and offline sale events

• Work closely with the visual merchandising team to decide how goods should be displayed to maximise customer interest and sales

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel with experience in creating PIVOT tables, VLOOKUP, and formulas
Experience in strategic marketing goal creation and implementation based on needs and demand
Working knowledge of client relationships along with marketing promotions, customer focus and territory management
Demonstrated ability to create a daily competitive analysis and distribute reports on a weekly basis
Experience in product knowledge with a fine attention to detail while taking the initiative to promote innovative ideas to the team
Thorough understanding of organizational reputation and merchandise enhancement prospects
Required knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and other inventory-tracking software
Must be an outstanding communicator with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced sales environment
Capability to forecast emerging trends and make creative decisions to promote smooth progression of retail relationships

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Gaining market share in specific businesses by promoting and selling medical devices and consumable products within assigned territories.
Make territory sales plan by-products and by-customers in accordance with the assigned sales targets.
Achieve sales target both in products and number of customers as per monthly and quarterly plan.
Make itineraries and daily activities report of what has been done and how much sales were achieved on that day.
Report on competitor’s activities and market situation.
Expand and penetrate the market with both new and existing products.
Promote the product through good product knowledge.
The honest and appropriate way of promotional materials use.
Keep excellent and prompt communication between customers and the company pertaining to the business.
Keep good relationships with the principal, customers, and colleagues.
Review regularly the customer master list and recommend for alteration.
Submit all required reports on time.
Responsible for detailing, promotion and selling of the partner's range of products to healthcare professionals.
Responsible for providing excellent customer service to doctors, hospitals, private clinics, specialists and laboratories.

REQUIREMENT :

STPM / Diploma / Bachelor degree in Medical Science / Biomedical / Electrical & Electronic / Marketing / Economics / Business Administration / Marketing (preferred but not mandatory).
Superior product knowledge. Able to absorb complex technical product knowledge.
2 -3 years’ experience in Medical Devices, pharmaceuticals, OTC or healthcare-related industries is an added advantage but not mandatory. Fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply!
Ability to plan, organize, monitor and execute CME / workshop / technical training sessions.
Highly self-motivated, strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
Candidates must be willing to travel extensively.
Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint skills.
Results and quality-oriented.
Excellent team player.
Good command of English and Bahasa Melayu.
Extensive product and sales training will be provided.
