Job Scope

• Assist with the entire recruitment process (especially on PMET roles)

Your responsibilities as the Human Resources Executive will include but not limited to:

• Facilitate and manage staff movement processes, ensuring smooth transitions and effective communication between all parties involved.
• Coordinate and work closely with stakeholders and external parties to manage internship placement and other related programs associated with the higher education institution(s).
• Assist and handling employees’ corrective matters, documentations in a fair, timely, and confidential manner in compliance with company policies.
• Manage the transition process, including exit interviews, offboarding formalities, and knowledge transfer.
• Support in HR related data entry into HR systems, maintain accurate employee records, produce relevant HR reports, and support compliance with HR policies and procedures.
• Assist and contribute to employee services such as respond to inquiries, provide employment certification letter, etc.
• Collaborate and work closely with stakeholders and relevant parties to ensure all statutory compliances, Employment Act 1955 compliance, etc.
• Support other HR roles and functions as per required such as preparing payroll documentation and engagement activity.
• Any other assignments as directed by immediate superior as and when required.

This role focuses to perform the HR services-related tasks (eg. HR administrative, recruitment, learning/training development, HR service desk etc.) in timely manner. Candidate should be able to think out of the box and challenge the existing process to ensure continuous improvement.

• Establish a strong rapport with hiring managers to understand their strategic staffing needs and fill vacancies in a timely manner.
• Work with hiring managers to develop job descriptions and requirements, post advertisements in a variety of job platforms
• Review online applications, evaluate qualifications of both internal and external candidates, conduct interviews to analyse candidate experience and fit, coordinate pre-employment tests as needed, verifying references.
• Manage candidate interview results and selection decision with hiring manager. Provide candidates feedback on interview results as appropriate.
• Complete reference check and background checks on selected candidates, as requested.
• Liaise between new hires and human resources, ensuring submission of all documentation required.
• Be proactive, think strategically, and network early in search of stellar candidates for all positions.
• Recommend system improvements to current recruitment processes to ensure streamlined, cost effective, high quality services are provided to hiring managers.
• Track applicant flow, maintain pipeline of qualified candidates for future consideration, help collect and analyse recruitment data.
• Build and maintain database of qualified professionals to rapidly respond to talent management needs.
• Represent Bjak with professionalism, enthusiasm and energy to sell the organization to prospective candidates.
• Conduct informational interviews with potential candidates. Solicit and prioritize internal referrals.
• Proactive use of social media, Facebook, Linkedin etc.

• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience HR Certification, ideally Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources/Business/Social Sciences/Psychology field
• Bi-lingual proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct training need analysis for every department to gather all training information needed by their department.
• Propose training that related to the department and wait for their response.
• Acknowledge the training nomination from request department and contact them directly for confirmation on the information stated in the request.
• Find training providers that conduct training as requested through training nomination by request department.
• Confirm information between request department and training provider to make sure the training achieved the training objectives.
• The training proposal from the training provider to be review and advisable to be claim from Human Resource Development Corp (HRDC).
• After confirmed, request for trainer profile, program tentative, training details and quotation from the training provider for HRDC claim purposed.
• Maintain good relationship with HRDC person in charge.
• Attend for any workshop or training organize by HRDC to gain new knowledge or for refreshment.
• Make sure to follow HRDC procedure for any grant application together with attachment required.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in training and development or related HR functions.
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles and training methodologies.

The Group Human Resource Director (GHRD) will play a critical hands-on role in shaping and executing HR strategy across the organization. 1. Lead and implement environmental, health and safety standards, policies and guidelines to ensure the organization, people and environment meet and surpass prevailing legal, industry, company and customers environmental, health and safety requirements.
