The role of Direct Tax Lead SG, MY & CN is responsible for corporate income tax related matters – direct taxes including transfer pricing of legal entities based in Singapore, Malaysia and China. The primary goal is to ensure accurate and timely tax reporting and tax compliance for all entities in scope.

Responsibilities:

• Act in compliance with JDE Peet’s Tax Strategy and Tax Policies.
• Preparation and ensuring timely filing of corporate income tax returns, withholding tax returns, and other tax compliance obligations (e.g., Principal Hub, Pillar 2 and CbCR related) for legal entities based in Singapore, Malaysia and China, with support from external stakeholders as appropriate.
• Ensure proper transfer pricing documentations are prepared in accordance with the Transfer Pricing Guidelines for all legal entities (where applicable) based in Singapore, Malaysia and China, with support from external stakeholders as appropriate.
• Reviewing and ensuring timely submission of tax accounting/ deferred tax calculations and provisions for legal entities based in Singapore, Malaysia and China.
• Provide tax advice and support to internal stakeholders (e.g., business, finance and legal) on various tax matters, such as cross-border transactions, transfer pricing, restructurings, tax incentives and tax treaties, including the review and draft (Intercompany) of agreements from a corporate income tax (including transfer pricing) perspective.
• Monitor and analyze tax developments and changes in tax laws and regulations in Singapore, Malaysia and China and assess the impact & implications for the business.
• Take charge of improvements to local tax-related practices and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Leads max 1. C/D innovation project, and/or supports other innovation / Productivity / Process Development /Packaging/Sustainability/Compliance projects. Supports planning and set-up for several R&D projects, sometimes as project leader

• Assist engineer to raise PR for tools/calibration/repairs, follow up with vendor for the delivery of services & parts.
• POC for calibration / repair work by vendor onsite, report to engineer for the progress of completion.
• Assist engineer for the process evaluation work and provide the result to engineer.
• 1st level troubleshooting support to all machine & tester using in production.
• Resolve the Kamishibai finding related with ME by guidance from ME Engineer.

This position is for HR General Executive to assist day to day HR functional areas under the supervision of HR Manager

Responsibilities:

• Provide support and guidance to employees on HR-related inquiries and concerns.
• Ensure employee personnel files & records are properly filed, maintained, and updated.
• Preparing letters for various employment-related matters.
• Support job recruitment process like interview arrangement and employee onboarding.
• Update staff movement and salary changes.
• Update employee compensation benefits records: medical and company insurance.
• Support employee work permits application and related processing.
• Support HR Manager to identify and implement HR initiatives that enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and development.
• Handle all HR related matters and undertake tasks as and when assigned by HR Manager

The Position will report to Financial Controller with work base in manufacturing facility in Malaysia. This position will work closely with site operational team and support the manual submission of invoices as part of the e-invoicing process in Malaysia.

• Assist in the manual submission of invoices (including Sales & self-billed E-invoices) into Myinvois portal according to IRBM guidelines.
• Verify accuracy and completeness of invoice required information before submission, including but not limited to vendor details, invoice amounts, and custom clearance documentation.
• Act as a point of contact for vendors regarding E-invoice received & inquiries. Establish and maintain positive relationships with vendors, ensuring timely communication and resolution of any issues or concerns.
• Validate & verify expenses incurred by employees on behalf of the employer to ensure that they are supported by e-invoices or receipts issued by vendors.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Accounts Payable, Planning, Shipping and Procurement teams, to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices.
• Perform bi-weekly & monthly reconciliation against SAP invoices with invoices submitted into Myinvois portal.
• Resolve discrepancies or issues related to invoice submission in a timely and efficient manner.
• Assist in generating reports and analyzing data related to invoice processing as required.
• Stay updated on relevant regulations and best practices related to e-invoicing in Malaysia.
• To support Internal Audits and Statutory audits
