The role

Works closely with and under the guidance of the Engineering Manager.  Primarily, the role will be responsible to provide technical support for production incidents and customer deployments Secondarily, and time allowing, the role will deliver product enhancements and improvements.

You will analyse and build a deep technical understanding of GBG’s Fraud products.  With this knowledge, you will provide on call support, support for deployments/installations, investigate and resolve incidents as well as contribute to product development.  

What you will do

As a member of the NextGen technology team in Kuala Lumpur, acquire knowledge and technical capability to support customer installations of the Fraud platforms and products.

Specifically:

• Form part of the 24/7 on-call support roster
• Support scheduled customer deployments and installation
• Prepare deployment check lists
• Smoke test deployments before handing over to the customer
• Review the deployment package before sending it to the customer
• Investigate and where possible, resolve incidents and problems

In addition, and time allowing, the Software Engineer (Support) will contribute to product development.

Specifically:

• Deliver features in line with the overall technical and product strategy
• Deliver product enhancements according to the requirements and take part in new developments
• Design, code, automate, and refactor code, programs, scripts, and other software services
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and provide solutions to problems with newly developed software

What are we looking for

Technical Skills

• Experience supporting cloud based, Java platforms
• Sound knowledge and experience of Java
• Handson experience with RDBMS such as PostgreSQL database applications (database design would be an advantage)
• Experience with No SQL database technology such as Redis (preferred) or data analytic database such as Druid is strong added advantage

Key Responsibilities include:

• Drive marketing engagements for key clients and partners by developing and executing client marketing strategies, plans, and initiatives. This includes the full lifecycle of marketing campaigns from planning to execution.

• Develop and nurture client partnerships to generate new revenue streams by providing comprehensive Marketing Value Added Services (VAS). These services encompass marketing insight, strategy, creative services, execution, and consulting.

• Identify client needs through detailed analysis and develop tailored plans of action. Negotiate pricing and scope with clients, followed by the necessary contracting and documentation. Collaborate with internal teams and agencies to implement effective solutions. Ensure progress by meeting objectives and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

• Manage and report the revenue pipeline, project status, successes and challenges related to Marketing VAS.

• Oversee all administrative deliverables related to client marketing project management and VAS including but not limited to marketing approvals, procurement processes, contract management and VIK process management in full compliance with Visa’s policy and process.

Role overview:

The Senior Associate will be joining the new Global Due Diligence function at TerraPay and will be responsible for assisting with the onboarding of clients and partners in the APAC region. They will be working closely with the Head of Due Diligence and MLROs in ensuring the compliance with AML regulations across all jurisdictions where TerraPay is licensed and will help build and test new processes and procedures for onboarding and periodic reviews.

How you will create impact:

• Directly onboarding TerraPay clients and partners, carrying out full screening and risk assessments, ensuring that TerraPay’s due diligence requirements are met in full.
• Working directly with the business development managers / relationship managers to ensure new clients and partners are within TerraPay’s risk appetite and comply with TerraPay’s global AML policies.
• Performing enhanced deep dive client/partner risk assessments and producing comprehensive reports for the respective MLROs and senior management to assist with high-risk customer decisioning.
• Working on creating procedure guides and manuals for the onboarding of clients from new business verticals. 
• Staying up to date with regulatory developments affecting the business and maintaining a working knowledge of relevant anti-money laundering regulations. 

Essential qualifications:

• Written and verbal fluency in English and Business Mandarin.
• Experience of correspondent banking relationships is preferred.
• Payments experience, especially in money remittance, or alternative payment methods is preferred.
• Experience/knowledge of issuing + acquiring is also preferred, including knowledge of Visa/Mastercard scheme rules.
• Preferably experience in performing EDD assessments on high-risk and complex clients.
• 5+ years of experience in financial crime (KYC, CDD, EDD, transaction monitoring, quality assurance testing, SAR reporting).
• ICA, ACAMS or equivalent AML certifications would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration and deployment.
• Develop and implement tools to automate operational processes.
• Manage and monitor Linux-based systems for performance, availability, and security.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize system architecture, ensuring high availability and reliability.
• Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) tools.
• Conduct root cause analysis on production issues and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
• Monitor application and infrastructure performance and implement improvements.
• Write and maintain scripts in Bash/Shell, Python, or Golang to automate tasks and support infrastructure operations.
• Participate in on-call rotation to support production systems.

• Proficient in Bash/Shell scripting.
• Good years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or related roles
• Solid programming skills in Python or Golang.
• Strong understanding of Linux systems.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes
• Fluency in Mandarin is a significant advantage for collaborating with Chinese-speaking teams. The ability to translate technical documentation or engage in conversations with stakeholders in Chinese is highly valued.

Job Description of Head of Product

We are looking for a Head of Product to take our products and services to the next level. You will be working closely with Engineering, Design, Clinical, Client Success and Business Development to create products, features and services that will have real impact in advancing digital mental health in Asia.

Responsibilities:

The Head of Product will be responsible for defining and executing the product strategy and roadmap. This role requires a visionary leader who can align cross-functional teams, manage product lifecycles, and ensure our offerings meet market demands and customer needs. This is an end-to-end role where you will define the product roadmap and oversee our full suite of Products: ThoughtFullChat, ThoughtFull Pro, ThoughtFull Insights and internal tools. In this role, you can expect to:

• Explore ideas that will shape the lives of those in the ThoughtFull mental health ecosystem, whether it’s end users, mental health professionals, partners or clients
• Set strategic direction and manage resources including people and budget to achieve company goals
• Lead and mentor a team of product managers and designer
• Collaborate with the CEO and other stakeholders such as Engineering, Design, Clinical, Business Development, Client Success and external Partners to define and understand their priorities and product needs
• Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy aligned with business goals

Skills and Qualifications:

• Min 5-7 years of Product Management experience
• Have led the end-to-end execution of impactful mobile-based products/services
• Have been in team leadership roles
• Able to align product vision with overall business objectives
• Able to maintain high performance in a dynamic, fast-moving environment with a “roll up your sleeves” mindset to get the job done
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
• Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making
