Candidate MUST HAVE hotel background and has worked in the Front Office Department before. Those who have experience in HOTEL PRE-OPENING will have an added advantage.
Must have good communication skills - written and spoken.
Able to review and write SOPs for the Front Office Dept.
Have knowledge in setting up the Front Office System covering the Front Desk, Concierge, Operator, and Guest Service sections as well as directing and coordinating the activities of all the sections.
Knows how to prepare revenue, occupancy forecasting and daily flash report. Control yield in order to maximize room revenue on a daily basis.
Effectively manage and optimize ARR and AOR.
Update guest information and history in the system.
Monitor guest arrival - VVIP, VIP as well as groups. Update, maintain and monitor their requirements.
Must be an honest and trustworthy person as the need to enforce all cash handlings, cheque cashing, credit policies, room key control, etc.
Conduct OJT Training, check staff grooming to sustain the strong image and branding of the Hotel.
Ensure that all Front Office systems are in operable condition inclusive of Front Office computer system. All operating equipment must always be well maintained to achieve high operational efficiency.
Ensure that all Front Office staff are well versed with the Hotel's product ie. Restaurant opening hours, signature dishes, events in the Hotel and whatever services /product offered and available or provided by the Hotel.
