Candidate MUST HAVE hotel background and has worked in the Housekeeping Department before. Those who have experience in HOTEL PRE-OPENING will have an added advantage.
Must have good communication skills - written and spoken.
Able to review and write SOPs for the Housekeeping Dept.
Have knowledge in setting up the Housekeeping system and daily operations covering cleaning schedules, linen/laundry, Lost & Found records, Housekeeping daily room reports, room inspection, guest supplies, maintenance work order form, pest & insect control etc.
Recruit and train new employees according to Hotel standard and compliance.
Maintain par stock of guest supplies, cleaning supplies, linen, uniform, etc.
Organize inventory with Finance staff for Housekeeping OE, fixed assets, etc.
Plan, control and supervise Horticultural activities.
Attending and resolving guests complaints.
Coordinate the preventive maintenance schedule of rooms and public area with maintenance staff.
