Join Our Team as a Transport Administrator!

We're seeking a confident and motivated individual to join our land transport department as a Transport Administrator. As part of this dynamic role, you'll provide efficient and proactive support to our transport planners, drivers on the road, and valued customers. Hours: Monday - Friday 10:00 - 18:00
Salary: £20,000 - £22,000
What will you be doing?
In this role, you'll be the backbone of our land freight operations, ensuring everything runs like clockwork. Your tasks will include:
- Customer Interaction: Actively engage with customers, booking deliveries (20-40 per day), and ensuring their satisfaction.
- Smooth Operations: Liaise with drivers throughout the day, ensuring the seamless execution of their runs.
- On-Road Support: Provide essential assistance to our drivers while they're out on the roads.
- Coordination: Collaborate with the AM Planner to handle transport phone calls and prioritise premium deliveries and collections.
- High Priority Freight: Monitor various teams' channels for high-priority freight, ensuring timely handling.
- Opportunities for Growth: This role is not just a job; it's a steppingstone to expanding your knowledge and expertise within the land freight industry. You'll have the chance to learn about vehicle planning, legal requirements and restrictions, CPC, and transport management, with experienced team members guiding your journey.
