How will you make an impact?
This role is all about providing a full, compliant generalist HR service across all areas of HR covering the entire employment lifecycle. Supporting, coaching and influencing managers and employees to create a positive, enjoyable and fair working environment which attracts and retains good people.
You will:
• Leading the Flexible Benefits scheme and working with our preferred External Suppliers to ensure our offer is market leading and attractive to existing colleagues and external talent.
• Supporting the HR Business Partner and HR Operations Manager with identifying suitable development programmes, competence frameworks and career discussions
• Take the lead on our Recruitment processes, working with Corporate Planning to ensure activity is in line with Headcount agreements. Coaching Line Managers on recruitment-related matters from candidate sourcing, selection procedures to offer and contract completion ensuring a high-quality and professional candidate experience. Review and recommend changes to processes to ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
• Monitoring our compliance against GDPR guidelines within a HR policy and process context and providing recommendations, where required.
• Define and deliver the Employee Wellbeing programme – raising awareness, delivering practical solutions and encouraging and enabling an open culture of discussions of mental health and wellbeing.
• Ensure effective systems are maintained so that DAUK can demonstrate compliance with applicable legal requirements, company rules and other relevant requirements.
About you:
You will be an experienced and credible HR Specialist with a track record of knowledge and expertise in all aspects of HR. You will have the ability to develop and maintain excellent relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
You will have strong commercial acumen and ideally have a solid knowledge of UK Employment Law.
CIPD qualification is not essential for this role but very much desirable.
You will also:
• Guide and mentor junior team members, offering support and assistance when needed to empower and develop them.
• Have experience working within a fast-paced, sales driven culture and be able to fully embed yourself within it.
• Be resilient, with high integrity coupled with a good sense of humour and an engaging personality.
• Be technically astute across ER, Recruitment, Pay, Comp & Benefits, Performance Mgt, Attendance, Talent etc.
• Be a strong and articulate communicator. Able to discuss and debate issues with business leaders collaboratively and constructively. Able to present management information, data and supporting narrative clearly.
• Have excellent numerical ability supported by well-developed Excel skills.
We believe in the importance of the office-working element of hybrid working. This role is hands-on and operational so at least 3 days per week in Weybridge is required. You must be able to reasonably commute to Weybridge.
