Perform an analysis of current state process and propose recommendations

Manufacturing Engineering Projects (example could include build fixture design and development)

Work area preparation (staging)

Enrolled in good standing as a college Rising Junior or Graduating Senior with aspirations for a career in a technical or manufacturing field post-graduation college

Fundamental understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
Experience with assembly processes is a plus
Experience in an automotive, heavy machinery, or similar environment would be helpful

Market-conform remuneration.
This is an addition to:
Monthly full-time allowance between €500 - €700 gross, depending on educational level and if you would need to relocate to The Netherlands. If you will perform a part-time internship you will receive the allowance pro-rata.
Housing compensation, in case of relocating to the vicinity of the office, €300,- net if location is in the vicinity of Amsterdam, €255,- net for all other Philips locations. You need to provide a rental contract of the land lord, and your normal home-work travel distance need to be more than 50 km or travel time (one way trip) need to be more than 1.5 hours.

The intern position would provide a hybrid of Purchasing and Sourcing support within our Global Procurement Supply Chain (GPSC) team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This role will be responsible for the setup and maintaining existing suppliers within the Pierce database. Prepare weekly reports for department leads to assist in decision making for the company. This role is based in the Wisconsin Fox Valley area and will support our international fire and emergency field service work. In this role you will perform service support functions while maintaining customer satisfaction and maximizing vehicle uptime.
