KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develops media contacts, plans press conferences and other press activities. Acts as hotel’s liaison with media to promote good publicity and counteract bad publicity.
• Develops and organizes promotional activities, coordinates with departments concerned; invites VIPs and media to promotional activities; prepares and issues press releases
• Establishes sales leads from the study of magazines, newspapers and form personal contacts; coordinates sales leads with Banqueting and Sales Departments
• Disseminates corporate press releases to appropriate local trade and consumer media
• Establishes a program for sending promotional news to trade publications on a regular basis releases covering special events, promotions, etc.
• Prepares promotional press releases on personalities among guests and employees of the hotel and on newsworthy events in the hotel
• Provides information to other departments on activities within and outside the hotel which may be useful when dealing with guests
• Accepts clients and media complaints, requests, and inquiries and coordinates handling with departments concerned
• Coordinates all activities with the Sales Manager
• Maintains good public relations by extending personalized service to VIPs. e.g. following up on reservations for VIPs, assisting in greeting VIPs and groups upon their arrival, sending welcome letter to VIP guests

• Maintaining stock/consumables goods control, inventory, stock movement, issues stock and makes requisitions for replacement.
• Handles routine accounting procedures and keeps records of transactions, banking transactions, receipts and statements, Debtors Ageing and collection. Prepares statements and reminder letters.
• Answering and recording daily service complaint calls for further distribution to technical staff.
• Compiles reports for information of management.
• Monitor, prepares Service Agreements and contracts and handles documents processing in relation to meter reading.
• Responsible for updating, keeping records of all documents under the scope of the Company's ISO 9001:2000.
• Deals with telephone enquiries, take messages, receives clients, ascertains their requests and directs them accordingly.
• Handles incoming and outgoing mail, sorting and distribution.
• General administration functions in the areas of daily office operations, stationery supplies etc.

• Serves medical insurance for employee by determining insurance coverage; examining and resolving medical claims documenting actions; maintaining quality services; ensuring legal compliance.
• Documents medical claims and insurance actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
• Prepares nedical and insurance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
• Protects operations by keeping claims information confidential.
• Design, implement, administer and communicate of the compensation, benefits or total rewards programs to meet business performance requirements, which includes regular benchmarking and reviews to ensure it encourage employees’ performance and behavioural.
• Administer the employees’ fringe benefits and its entitlement to ensure such benefit is granted within the limit and with proper documentation.
• Ensure the consistent compensation & benefit practices and initiatives across the Business Units.
• Complete all the probation evaluation process before probation end date including employee sign-off letter
• Conduct employee service counter for all the employee for any enquiry ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of communication channel company wide

Others

• Ensure an appropriate filing system by documenting systematically all relevant documents for easy retrieval and secure manner.
• Assist in the conduct of human resource audits and surveys to prepare reports with recommendation on human resource related issues and employee motivation.
• Prepare and maintain personnel records and monthly human resource reports, inclusive of human resources expenses and budget.
• Assist the HR Manager on the ad hoc projects as at when required.
• Read the Information Security Policy and those supporting policies and guidelines that are relevant to their role.
• Implement good workplace practices of complying with the Information Security Policy.
• Responsibility for dealing securely with any information they have access to in the course of their duties. 

Job Requirements:

• Qualification : Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or Business Management (or other relevant fields)
• Experience : Preferable 1 year HR-related experience, with exposure to payroll and compensation & benefits functions, in a manufacturing environment
• Skill : Knowledge in employment laws (Employment Act 1955 & Industrial Relation Act 1967) and experience in handling HR-related disputes, Microsoft Office, Good consultancy skills
• Language : Be effectively bilingual in English and Malay with superior communication and customer service skills

• To analyze and report on target audience insights, consumer trends, market analysis and marketing best practices to help build the best strategies possible
• Discussing and consolidating the data and findings you have to back up your marketing ideas with the managing director or business executive.
• Ensuring that the marketing plans and strategies appeal to the target audience members
• To design or create marketing materials such as videos, articles, banners, posters, emails and etc
• Developing creative briefs that detail how we meet objectives for all advertising and public-facing communications including print, social media, digital marketing, video assets and etc. 
• Researching and documenting the best ways to gather customer and market insights to determine what outreach strategies are needed to increase customer conversions if the Ad idea has been launched 
• Documenting how we track the impact and effectiveness of the current marketing plans put in place, analyzing them as well as finding ways to improve or optimize them accordingly
