The Digital Director is a dual role between creating and delivering best in class digital products & strategy to drive the agency forward, as well as managing and leading a portfolio of clients to high client satisfaction. The product & strategy side of the role focuses on ensuring ADMATIC remain competitive in market through innovative wholistic digital solutions. Responsible for leading & driving best in market digital solutions through future thinking ideas. The role focuses on problem solving for our clients before the need arises across all facets of digital – such as but not limited to media firsts, identity resolution, tracking & reporting. The client leadership side of the role focuses on managing and leading a portfolio of clients as the senior client lead to deliver best in class digital media campaigns, service and satisfaction. Between these two core responsibilities, the role also encompasses support for the agencies new business drive through existing client growth and new client wins.
Responsibilities
Client leadership:
- Build and maintain strong agency-client relationships across core clients, leading WIPs as required across allocated accounts
- Escalation point for your clients operational and commercial issues regarding campaign performance and client satisfaction
- Develop and maintain strong business relationships & collaboration with our technology and media trading partners, making the most out of each relationship to support ADMATIC and our clients
- Understand your client’s business in its entirety, the challenges they face and align with their senior leads to drive tangible business outcomes
- Provide leadership and direction to a team of performance and activation specialists running the campaigns, ensuring team delivery is aligned to the business goals of clients
Respond to briefs:
- Understand key client objectives and develop successful segmentation and optimisation strategies to exceed client expectations.
- Ensure the clients digital strategy is market leading
- Provide strategic input and guidance around campaign design, including requirements for success and optimal use of trading platforms (programmatic and social).
- Serve as a subject matter expert across broader industry topics to clients – Creative, brand safety & ad verification, viewability, attribution, emerging channels (TV Squared /dPOOH/Audio).
Product & solutions:
- Take a lead role in new business & pitches, contributing to the overall solution and ‘idea’ that will win new business by showcasing ADMATICs unique product solutions
- Create and lead innovative product solutions for clients to help them stay abreast of the evolving digital landscape across all digital channels ( programmatic, audio visual, commerce, data and emerging technology) whilst delivering diversified revenue for Admatic.
- Drive a culture of core product excellence, training and coaching the business on new product initiatives.
- Be the bridge between adtech and martech to support and advise clients with internal systems such as CRM, DMPs, CDPs and other platforms to connect to our media efforts to clients data
- Develop senior client relationships to deliver ADMATICs unique product solutions so that our clients know we are best in class when it comes to staying on top of digital developments
- Stay on the forefront of key media & AdTech product roadmaps to ensure we deliver innovation; attend relevant events & webinars to educate and stay abreast of the digital market
Qualifications
- 6-10 years' hands-on previous experience in an activations role to be an expert in all aspects of paid social & programmatic
- Experience in strategy & planning of digital media with a mix of brand and performance focused campaigns
- Abreast of latest trends in the digital ecosystem (SEO, SEM, Web, CRO, Analytics, Data), whilst also understanding the broader media environment
- Strong hands-on knowledge and experience across the following platforms; Facebook Business manager, TikTok, Snapchat, Dv360 (or other DSP) and Campaign manager
- Extensive knowledge and application of setting up and best practice across Google Analytics, including the change to GA4
Google Tag Manager or other tag management systems knowledge highly desirable
- Leadership - able to motivate, educate and progress individuals skills set
- Commercially minded; you can spot a good new business opportunity and upsell area within existing clients
- Exceptional client service with the knowledge of what it takes to provide best in class client satisfaction
- A high attention to detail with good organisational and project management abilities
- Team player, with a can-do attitude and the ability to collaborate with the entire team
Remuneration expectation
- Full-time role
- AUD$125,000-$135,000 per annum
- Plus Superannuation
