QUALIFICATIONS
Must be 18 years of age and have a HS Diploma or equivalent. Must be willing to learn team skills and work in a team environment. Duties
Operate Laminator to run in accordance with all written specification including manufacturing spec, customer spec, and standard operating procedure Recording and storage of retains Determine how often film samples need to be taken, prepare samples, take to QA lab for testing Shall visually inspect web for defects, which will then be flagged Changing glue filters Adjust machine specifications, pressures, equipment for each new job All other duties as assigned by supervisor or management

With our wide range of products produced at this site, such as convenience food packaging and lawn care packaging, we have increased product demand with our plans to expand and grow our workforce in our Converting, Press and Slitting departments. Oshkosh North has all four business processes allowing us to take our raw material/resin pellets, melt them down and create rolls of film which are printed on, cut/slit to meet customer specifications, and then we convert those rolls into bags and packages; completing the final product.
We are investing in our plant through: state of the art equipment, improving our production flow and efficiencies, increasing our workforce and providing focused training, and open and honest communication to create ONE engaged Oshkosh North Team.
SHIFTS AVAILABLE:
2-2-3 shift schedule 12 hours rotating biweekly from days to nights
COMPENSATION: $24.17/hour + $1.20/hour night shift premium available + 1.5x pay on Sundays!

Maintain day-to-day planning, ordering and expediting of raw materials and supplies, and then communicate results to all appropriate departments. Schedule and maintain work center schedules to accommodate customer orders.
Job Requirements:
· High school diploma or equivalent, Associate degree in a related field preferred
· Minimum 2 years experience in a manufacturing environment
· Proficient computer skills in both word processing and spreadsheet manipulation
· Knowledge and experience with SAP, MRP and PRMS required
· Strong and effective negotiating and communicating ability
· Knowledge and ability to work with and resolve problems regarding stock (delivery, quantity, etc.) with both outside suppliers and internal customers as necessary
· Strong ability to multitask, prioritize and remain calm in a fast-paced and stressful environment
Responsibilities:
· Serve as a contact person for sales and customer service
· Prioritize and manage work center schedule communicating changes and adjustments to appropriate departments and management
· Input and track travelling requisitions
· Update and manage coating MRP as necessary
· Initiate supplier corrective action using supplier feedback forms and verify responses are received
· Verify Purchase Orders have been received and allocate part numbers and stock items
· Evaluate and plan authorized purchases and receipts for specified stock and non-stock items
· Negotiate pricing as needed for coating materials
· Communicate stock availability, lead time and expedites to Customer Service team and other departments as needed
· Evaluate, track and record OTIF information
Additional non-essential duties:
· Act as back up to the materials material purchaser and the graphics department.

JOB OVERVIEW:
As a press or lamination operator with Amcor, you will be given the opportunity to continue to develop your skills further on the job. Press operators will operate the Rotogravure 10 color press in a safe and controlled manner that will ensure the safety of others and quality of products being made. Lamination operators will operator the various laminators for running jobs efficiently and safely while maintaining quality products for our customers.

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our Amcor Appleton team. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of machinery to produce high-quality products. This is a great opportunity to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment and contribute to the production of precision components.
Shift Schedule:
12-hour 2-2-3 straight nights
Compensation:
Starting pay between $23.41-$24.59/hour (based on experience)
$1.20/hour night shift premium available + 1.5x pay on Sundays!
Purpose:
Operates machine and packs to slit continuous lengths of material such as foil, paper, or plastic film into webs of specified width by performing the following duties.
Duties:
Spaces shear or razor blades on machine mount, according to width specified on job jacket for webs, and turns setscrew to secure blades in position.
Mounts roll of material on machine supports and threads material over tension bar, between feed rollers, and under shear or razor blades.
Tapes end of slit material around take-up cores. Starts machine and observes flow of material through machine to detect irregular cutting and winding. Uses switches or push buttons to stop, start, and regulate speed of machine and to align material with shear or razor blades.
Disengages winding shaft and removes rolls of material.
Monitors and maintains quality by removing flagged defects and looking for unflagged defects.
Completes production report.
Performs standard quality assurance tests and others as required on job jacket.
Performs Packer and Roll Doctor duties when needed.
Follows all applicable instructions.
Adhere to Good Manufacturing and Prerequisite Program requirements to ensure safe food packaging.
Adheres to established power lift truck rules and guidelines.
Inputs necessary data into the computer.
Adheres to core values and actively contributes to a high-performance culture.
Comply with all 5S, Cleaning, Lubrication, Inspection & Tightening (CILT) requirements.
Be an active participant in teams and initiatives. Cross-training in other departments and on other machines as needed. All other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

Basic knowledge of computers; Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Experience with SAP preferred.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to read a standard or metric ruler and use a chart to convert between the two.

The role of the Manufacturing Supervisor is to manage shift production in achieving safety, quality, service, waste, productivity and culture goals. Job Overview: This position will support all production operations to optimize output and minimize waste while maintaining excellent quality and safety standards. Assist in the manufacture of quality products (per customer standards) as determined by the production schedule and shift supervisor.
