What You’ll Do

Essential Duties and Responsibilities of Freight Flow
Responsible for managing overall store logistic processes that support company initiatives and productivity goals.
Utilize all company tools and training resources to ensure the team follows logistic processes, visual execution standards, and stocking routines.
Manage visual publication calendar and delivery schedule to plan and execute all logistics workload; partner with Assistant Manager of Operations or Assistant Store Manager to schedule for workload.
Maintain and manage stockroom standards and organization that supports efficiency and safety standards.
What You’ll Bring
Leadership skills including: Excellent customer experience behaviors, a strong sense of urgency, attention to detail, creative problem solving and sound decision-making skills that align with strategic initiatives, effective delegation and validation, and the ability to execute daily priorities efficiently.
Minimum of 2+ years of relevant leadership experience in a fast-paced specialty retail selling culture is preferred.

As a Van Delivery Driver you will be responsible for courteous, on-time, and accurate deliveries of products with a variable daily route. This role will operate the van in a professional and safe manner demonstrating attention to detail and safe work habits. What does a day to day look like?

As a Trailer Service Technician you will be responsible for performing inspections, service, and repairs on dry van type trailers.
Additional duties:
Diagnosing failures and making repairs on mechanical, electrical or other various systems on a trailer
Discussing the nature of the difficulty with the driver(s)
Using hydraulic jacks or hoist, to gain access to the underside of the unit and to aid in the removal or replacement of assemblies such as springs, axles, landing gear, and brakes, etc.
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of Trailer Mechanic experience
ASE electrical or Air Brake System certification
Training and certification in electrical welding of steel and/or aluminum
Training in repair of hydraulic lift gates
Training in repair of refrigeration/heater units
Pay Rate: 30.25 - 34.75 per hour, based on experience

Saia is currently looking for dockworkers to join our team. Our dockworkers will efficiently sort, handle and load freight into and unload it from over the road equipment, containers and city trailers using a sit down forklift. In some instances, our dockworkers will also perform the job duties of a hostler, moving trailers throughout our yard.
