Job description

• To service existing customers regularly and improve market share.
• To establish potential customers and be responsible in the development of new markets to enhance sales opportunities.
• To plan and implement sales and marketing strategies plan for promotion and sales of products to achieve sales target.
• To assist in solving customer's technical and application problems; coordinates action with design and operations to improve existing products or to develops new products.
• To prepare regular reports on territory performance (for customers and products against targets) and customer visits; prepares ad hoc reports highlighting new business opportunities, quality problems and lost business analysis for action by management.
• To undertake other special assignments, ad-hoc functions and related duties when required.

Job requirements

• Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical, Material, Manufacturing, Science or equivalent.
• Performance-driven and result oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Independent and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ambitious, Aggressive and committed to work.
• Able to communicate and correspond in English, Bahasa Malaysia and other languages for dealing with oversea customers.

We are looking for a Manager, Field Sales who will be responsible for acquiring partnerships between foodpanda and the best-in-class restaurants and Shops. If you are interested in jugling as an independent contributor while having some exposure in to mentor and 

Key Responsibilities:

• Manager, Field Sales at foodpanda are responsible for driving B2B sales, seek and secure a new partnership with vendors
• Passionate and should have a keen interest in the food and beverage industry with a desire to sign up the best local and international vendors
• Gather both restaurant and shops feedback, monitor competitor activity and provide recommendations for improvements to management
• Exceed sales targets & performance-based goals while working independently. At the same time, you are required to occasionally step in to mentor and guide the team as a subject matter expert.
• Manage portfolio of vendors, which includes restaurant and shops accounts and exceed goals for account retention, development, and maintenance
• Be the local market expert: You know the best restaurant & shops in Malaysia and always able to provide recommendations
• Be the brand ambassador: Conduct cold calls and walk-ins, schedule in person meetings and sell foodpanda service to potential vendors which include tiptop shops and restaurants in Malaysia

We are looking for a motivated, dynamic Sales Manager (SM) to join our sales team based out of our offices in various locations in BW office. Your responsibilities will be to lead a sales team and develop the team into successful performers, coach them by engaging with them in sales attachment and ultimately drive the team to achieve their target. You will also be given full product and sales solutions training in Pest Control and Hygiene, with hands on assistance from our group of Specialist and Sales Team.

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Leading the sales team and drive them to achieve monthly and annual target
• Coach and guide sales team into professional sales personnel
• Review weekly sales activities, defining strategic sales pipeline and prospects by building on solid existing client relationship to win more new sales and clients in your territory to help the team to achieve sales target
• Engaged in sales route ride with the team within your market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities is explored
• Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations
• Drive sales revenue and analyse their needs for upsell and cross sell opportunities
• Takes accountability by ensuring team update daily sales in system
• Agile and flexible to perform on-site inspection as and when required
• Work closely with other team members to assist in collection

• Conduct sales meetings and support overall sales SOP so as to be aligned with Company’s direction
• Conduct visit at major customers’ site on monthly basis to understand their needs, concerns and suggest improvement from feedback received

• Maintain extensive knowledge of market and competitors, identify and develop the company’s selling propositions and differentiators.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Minimum a Diploma in any related with at least 5 years relevant Sales Management/ Supervisory experience
• Strong leadership qualities, result oriented, dynamic, self-driven and motivated to work with and through people of various levels
• Excellent in promoting teamwork and synergize the team towards achieving sales target
• Driven by data, analytical, able to develop team by managing their sales activities and coach them accordingly
• Excellent in building a network of excellent customer relationships
• Able to identify potential opportunities and provide cost effective solutions to clients
• Ability to work onsite especially under the sun and go on joint visits with Sales/ Technical colleagues
• Good understanding of Business clients in your designated geographic areas/ region
• Able to work autonomously and thrive on challenges
• Required valid driving license because driving is part of the job requirement for this designation
• Possess own vehicle, is a Malaysian or holds a relevant resident status
