• Assist with performing database management of multiple cancer epidemiology studies, including but not limited to, dataset creation including merging and/or concatenation, data cleaning identify and correct data entry errors and/or missing values, data transformation create and categorize variables; impute data and delivering data to staff and scientist. GENERAL OVERVIEW:

Under the supervision of a pathologist coordinates the receiving, processing and gross description of all patient tissue specimens sent to the laboratory for diagnostic evaluation and postmortem examinations.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Performs detailed gross anatomic description and sectioning of patient tissue sent to the lab for evaluation. May perform detailed gross dissection, description and sectioning of autopsy. (40%)
• Organizes gross room workflow for efficiency and productivity. (20%)
• Assures proper maintenance of equipment, provision of adequate supplies, and cleanliness of surgical pathology area. (20%)
• Functionalizes the details of research protocols and clinical trials by analyzing the type of tissue needed and ensuring  the integrity of the tissue (10%)
• May instruct, assign and/or assists pathology residents, students and new employees in protocol for handling and describing specimens. (10%)
• Performs other duties as assigned or required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Pathologists' Assistant (American Society of Clinical Pathologists) certification or eligible. Certification must be obtained within 1 year of employment. (Incumbents in role prior to January 2009 exempt from certification requirement).
• Pathologists’ Assistant experience or training and/or histotechnology laboratory experience.

SUMMARY:

The primary responsibility of this position is to lead cross functional teams in planning execution and analysis of various business initiatives. The Brand Assistant role is a general management role with P&L responsibility and includes supporting the development of strategic business and marketing plans to achieve corporate and brand volume profit and share objectives. Partner with Brand Manager of short term and long term innovation channels and customer business teams to develop and execute innovation plans including concept development feasibility validation product and packaging R&D business proposal and approval project execution customer sell in and tracking of in-market performance. Partner with Operations and R&D to develop and execute quality improvement and cost reduction initiatives. Work hand-in-hand with the sales organization to understand and integrate customer strategies in business and brand plans. Proactively work with Sales Strategy and Planning partners to ensure forecast accuracy maximization of opportunities and development of plans to deliver against JBP objectives. Manage monthly volume forecast for assigned brand categories coordinating between demand and supply planning to deliver best-in-class forecast accuracy

REQUIREMENTS

• EDUCATION: A BS BA in business marketing or related field is required
• EXPERIENCE: At least 1 year of relevant marketing experience is preferred
• COMPUTER SKILLS: Experience with Nielsen and or IRI preferred
• COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Strong communication and presentation skills. Strong collaborator with ability to lead cross functional teams
