Penang Global Tourism (PGT) is the state tourism bureau set up to work with key tourism players locally and abroad.  PGT’s aim is to attract more visitors to Penang by positioning it as the location of choice for investors, destination of choice for tourists and habitat of choice for anyone who desires quality living in a small, charming place with big-city facilities.

PGT’s mission is to develop events with participation of all stakeholders.  Hence, the three main roles played by PGT in promoting Penang entail promotion, tourism services and events.
