Responsibilities:
- You shall act in the capacity of an M&E Project Manager including all supply, installation, testing and commissioning, IQ/OQ, etc of all HVAC works, electrical cabling/wiring, cleanroom installation, firefighting works, process piping, BMS, instrumentation & control, etc.
- You are expected to coordinate effectively with client’s vertical leads, as well as Area Managers and Users to the timely completion of the project.
- You shall assist the Project Director and feedback information to him on a regular basis. You are also expected to liaise with the Project Director on all matters & importance (eg. site progress, site problems, accidents, etc).
- You must be fully conversant and knowledgeable with the work of vendors (eg. electrical, cleanroom, HVAC, process engineering, etc) as well as procedures and protocols at the close of the contracts (CTP, IQ, OQ, IOQ, etc).
- You are expected to attend, organise and initiate all daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly meetings.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven 5 years experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, with a strong emphasis on MEP systems.
- Specific experience in managing projects within pharmaceutical or chemical plants, involving clean room environments and intensive MEP works.
- In-depth knowledge of MEP systems, HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and other related construction technologies.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards applicable to pharmaceutical and chemical plant construction projects.
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Primavera/MS Project) for scheduling, budgeting, and reporting.
