Production Line Manager

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead production teams to meet profit and performance targets.
• Drive continuous improvement in operations, focusing on people, processes, and systems.
• Manage all operational results, including safety, quality, velocity, and cost.
• Report on KPIs and ensure effective KPI data management and visual boards.
• Maintain robust planning and control techniques for manufacturing activities.
• Collaborate with the materials department to address delivery and planning issues.
• Optimize manufacturing operations and support processes with Manufacturing Engineering.
• Implement company strategies and lean methodologies.
• Ensure facility maintenance supports effective operations.
• Assess staff levels and training needs in line with business strategies.
• Ensure compliance with Quality Assurance, Health, Safety, and Environmental policies.
• Enhance communication and trust with staff and negotiate with works committees as needed.
• Review and prepare capital expenditure proposals aligned with strategic goals.
• Create conditions to maximize performance and reduce employee turnover.
• Conduct annual appraisals and set performance objectives for staff.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in a technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years in manufacturing, preferably in automotive.
