Your new role
You'll be bringing Industry 4.0 to high-tech manufacturing, using our software to control robots, talk to machines and ultimately boost chip production.
As a Solution Architect, you will provide our customers consultation & solution, requirement gathering, designing and distributing tasks to team members. You will work closely with your colleagues in Germany as part of our international teams.
What you'll do
- Requirements analysis and analysis of the integration capabilities of the customer's existing or planned systems and facilities
- Align with customers on automation scenarios
- Solution design and planning/distribution of team activities
- Quality assurance and maintenance of the developed software
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Electrical / Electronic / Computer Engineering AND
- At least 6 years working experience including experience as Solution Architect in software & automation field in semiconductor industry
- Object oriented analysis, design and implementation
- Knowledge in Java or other object oriented programming language such as C#
- Structured working style and strong in analysis & conceptional thinking
- Excellent presentation and communication skills in English
- Willingness to travel
- Interest in technology & automation
Useful industry-specific knowledge:
- Software design tool such as Sparx System Enterprise Architecture
- Project management tools such as MS Project
- Message-oriented middleware, e.g. Apache ActiveMQ, TIBCO-RV...
- Production control system such as MES, etc.
- Programming interfaces like REST
- Equipment interfaces such as OPC UA, SECS/GEM
- JavaScript, TypeScript and Angular for GUI development
- SQL and Database design
- Chinese
