We’re looking for a highly driven and motivated Senior Manager, Strategic Account Management for our Marketplace team in Malaysia. About this role:
This role will be based in Kuala Lumpur and will report to the Strategic Account Management Lead.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and expand relationships with existing clients and proactively identify further new business opportunities

Scope of Position: Develop, maintain, lead and measure Expeditors’ product and service deliverables to satisfy the specific needs of a Corporate Account(s).
Continually seek opportunities for service enhancement and improved tactical management. Increase our share of customer business on an annual basis.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Account retention, Strategic responsibilities:

• Continually seek improvement in procedures and services to create more efficient and cost effective operations.
• Continually search for and implement cost savings within Expeditors (whether through efficiencies or hard cost savings).
• Design and manage QBR process with account input. Maintain and participate in scheduled QBRs locally.
• Manage schedule of global QBRs when applicable. Consolidate data from global QBRs.
• Involve Branch Managers or Key Department Managers in the QBR process.
• Facilitate communication amongst all key contacts and all related Expeditors contacts.
• Facilitate cooperation and positive working relationship with 3rd party vendors
• Communicate technology updates and tools proactively.

Account retention, Tactical responsibilities:

• Maintain all account rates and tariffs.
• Keep rates fresh and manage yields on a monthly basis.
• Coordinate RFQs and rate requests.
• Ensure the branches file ATS and advise TLI number.
• Distribute rate information as needed within the Expeditors network timely.
• Provide clear instructions on operational requirements so that branches can construct their DLSOPs.
• Ensure branches are maintaining / updating DLSOPs.
• Make sure all Expeditors branches are aware of account key contacts in their location. 
• Email distribution backed with quarterly conference calls are the preferred method.
• Assist and support all Expeditors in-house operations representatives based at the Corporate Account.
• Establish and direct all reports required to evaluate Expeditors performance.
• Establish target performance metrics with the account.
• Ensure that a functioning and agreed upon invoicing - payment process is in place. Make sure this is included in the DLSOP.
• If a third party payment center is involved, ensure process flow and contacts for escalation is in place in DLSOP.
• Assist with collections on past dues over 30 days.
• Provide assistance in resolution of regional claims and disputes.
• Set up Management reports to ensure global consistency and data integrity.

Account development, Strategic responsibilities:

• Continually search for and implement cost savings for your client by improving processes and eliminating waste.
• Establish, maintain and review account objectives through the use of an annual business plan reviewed quarterly with Corporate Sponsor and key personnel.
• Identify opportunities and keep Teamsell updated accordingly.
• Be dedicated to the success of Expeditors and the program using ethical business practices, personal commitment, passion & sacrifice, and an obsession with the fundamental details of running the business.

Account development, Tactical responsibilities:

• Travel when necessary within region to branch offices, customer field offices, and account customers to resolve issues, review branch operating procedures, and maintain customer information and satisfaction. International travel as required.
• Update key customer contacts with industry information through newsflashes, insights and global news that directly affect them.
• Maintain lines of communication with all key contacts – locally, regionally or internationally – as needed within account’s organization.
• Maintain a thorough client organizational chart with all key contacts showing responsibilities and role (i.e.; decision maker, influencer, advocate, coach)
• Ensure advanced notice of service irregularities.

Financial Closing

• Perform monthly and yearly financial closing – to ensure all information are proper recorded.
• Perform Balance Sheet reconciliation on monthly basis – to ensure the accuracy and properly classified of transactions.
• Responsible for recharges to and from intercompany.

Account Payables

• Ensure that expenses allocation to business unit and complied with Company Policies and Local regulation.
• Payment process – assembling and verifying the accuracy as well as the completeness of supporting documents of Suppliers’ Invoice with Purchase Order and Delivery Order in procurement system, prepare Payment Vouchers in accounting system and perform payment in the bank electronic payment system on a timely manner to avoid any late payment charge.
• To be the contact point for the vendors on day-to-day financial related issues including reconciliation of the vendors’ ledgers.
• Procurement analysis – to ensure purchases are in accordance to procurement policies and follow up on status of goods received and invoice from vendors.

Contract Management

• Contract management – to ensure compliance with procurement policies.

Others

• Continually update SOPs, check and balance actions, identify and drive accounting and finance process efficiencies and improvements.
• Assist in handling cash flow management, audit and tax matters and liaise with relevant authorities and bodies.

Job Purpose:
To provide administrative assistance to the AM Department. To assist the Account Managers in implementing winning account management strategies with focus on designated key accounts for achieving the financial targets, productivity standards, market focus & share objectives, customer satisfaction and loyalty objectives. To assist Account Managers in penetrating and expanding the market share of the designated key accounts.

Key Accountabilities:

• Support the Account Managers in QBR’s (business reviews) and presentations preparations.
• Support the department with RFQ’s.
• Support the department in business development and customer retention.
• To coordinate with the Account Managers in providing administrative assistance to the Department, function as back-up for Account Managers when specific support is needed.
• To perform the coordinating role and focus on specific designated accounts of the company and take ownership.
• To ensure that all customers that you are responsible for have Standard Operating Procedures in place, 'Customer SOP'.
• Timely, accurate and proactive communication with customers.
• To focus on customer service compliance, to coordinate with customer service and operations teams, to comply to the preset account documentation processes and productivity standards.
• To participate in customer service reviews, customer satisfaction surveys and making analysis for the designated accounts.
• Follow up on AR status.
• To assist in Transition & Implementation of account.
• Meeting customers with the Account Managers whenever required.
• To take up additional tasks as required to meet the Department’s needs.

Scope of Position: Develop, maintain, lead and measure Expeditors’ product and service deliverables to satisfy the specific needs of a Corporate Account(s).
Continually seek opportunities for service enhancement and improved tactical management. Increase our share of customer business on an annual basis.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Account retention, Strategic responsibilities:

• Continually seek improvement in procedures and services to create more efficient and
• cost effective operations.
• Continually search for and implement cost savings within Expeditors (whether through
• efficiencies or hard cost savings).
• Design and manage QMR process with account input. Maintain and participate in
• scheduled QMRs locally.
• Manage schedule of global QMRs when applicable. Consolidate data from global QMRs.
• Involve Branch Managers or Key Department Managers in the QMR process.
• Facilitate communication amongst all key contacts and all related Expeditors
• contacts.
• Facilitate cooperation and positive working relationship with 3rd party vendors
• Communicate technology updates and tools proactively.

Account retention, Tactical responsibilities:

• Maintain all account rates and tariffs.
• Keep rates fresh and manage yields on a monthly basis.
• Coordinate RFQs and rate requests.
• Ensure the branches file ATS and advise TLI number.
• Distribute rate information as needed within the Expeditors network timely.
• Provide clear instructions on operational requirements so that branches can construct their DLSOPs.
• Ensure branches are maintaining / updating DLSOPs.
• Make sure all Expeditors branches are aware of account key contacts in their location. 
• Email distribution backed with quarterly conference calls are the preferred method.
• Assist and support all Expeditors in-house operations representatives based at the Corporate Account.
• Establish and direct all reports required to evaluate Expeditors performance.
• Establish target performance metrics with the account.
• Ensure that a functioning and agreed upon invoicing - payment process is in place. Make sure this is included in the DLSOP.
• If a third party payment center is involved, ensure process flow and contacts for escalation is in place in DLSOP.
• Assist with collections on past dues over 30 days.
• Provide assistance in resolution of regional claims and disputes.
• Set up Management reports to ensure global consistency and data integrity.

Account development, Strategic responsibilities:

• Continually search for and implement cost savings for your client by improving processes and eliminating waste.
• Establish, maintain and review account objectives through the use of an annual business plan reviewed quarterly with Corporate Sponsor and key personnel.
• Identify opportunities and keep Teamsell updated accordingly.
• Be dedicated to the success of Expeditors and the program using ethical business practices, personal commitment, passion & sacrifice, and an obsession with the fundamental details of running the business.

Account development, Tactical responsibilities:

• Travel when necessary within region to branch offices, customer field offices, and account customers to resolve issues, review branch operating procedures, and maintain customer information and satisfaction. International travel as required.
• Update key customer contacts with industry information through newsflashes, insights and global news that directly affect them.
• Maintain lines of communication with all key contacts – locally, regionally or internationally – as needed within account’s organization.
• Maintain a thorough client organizational chart with all key contacts showing responsibilities and role (i.e.; decision maker, influencer, advocate, coach)
• Ensure advanced notice of service irregularities.

In this critical role, you will be responsible for driving growth, profitability, and market share across our Independent Aftermarket, Off-Highway Specialist Dealer network, Original Equipment Supplier (OES) Customers.

Key Responsibilities:

•  Develop and implement strategic sales plans and business strategies to achieve revenue/profit targets and drive expansion into the Mining, Construction, Marine, Power Gen, and Agriculture segment in , including conducting market/competitor research, identifying key players, assessing potential for relevant products, and formulating actionable execution plans.
• Support in developing market within new segments such as non-automotive, & Performance and Transmission.

• Knowledge in property365 (IFCA.net) will be an added advantage
