- Direct contact and counterpart to and for Global IT to implement, manage and adapt systems to comply with Baerlocher group standards
- Direct contact and counterpart to external IT service providers
- Administration and support of local infrastructure systems (AD, Azure AD, Server, Backup, Network) in cooperation with Global IT
- Create and maintain IT documentation
- Computer & Software inventory, license tracking, asset management and hardware maintenance renewals based on IT management system
- Software and systems installation based on Software Deployment system in cooperation with Global IT
- Creation, Adoption and Maintenance of IT policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies set by upper management & Global IT.
- Analyzing the business requirements of departments, determining their technology needs and finding solutions in alignment with Global IT to accomplish the requirement.
- Ensuring that IT systems, applications and communication equipment within the organization are managed and maintained in accordance with documented processes, procedures, guidelines and instructions.

Baerlocher (M) Sdn Bhd was established in 1992 and wholly owned by Baerlocher GmbH of Germany. Baerlocher is a global manufacturer of PVC Stabilizers (lead and calcium/zinc based) and metal soaps.
The manufacturing plant located at Tuanku Jaafar Industrial Estate Seremban is a Licensed Manufacturing Warehouse (“LMW”) status, granted the same benefits of a Free Trade Zone (“FTZ”) location. Baerlocher (M) Sdn Bhd is constantly growing in the marketplace by reaching out to customers in AsiaPacific as well as the Middle Eastern countries. Over 90% of our products are exported to Australia, Bangladesh, China, Indonesia, Myanmar, New Zealand, Pakistan, Philippines, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam and Middle Eastern Countries.
The company manufactures Calcium-based and traditional based PVC stabilisers for rigid plasticised applications like pipe and profiles, window, cable, wire, flexible hoses, synthetic leather, flooring, rigid firm, packaging, and uses its own patented AV technology to manufacture high purity metal stearates such as zinc stearate and calcium stearate which are widely used in polymer, rubber, building, paper and wood lacquer applications. The AV technology is able to produce low-dust granules and powder product forms.
