What will you do:
- Fully support the company's PR strategy and execute it in different phases.
- Assist in managing public relations activities and materials. This includes assisting in writing press releases, press releases distribution, fact sheet, media profiling, and delivery of hampers during festive seasons.
- Regular compilation of monthly reporting on the result of all stated above activities.
- Analyze campaign performance, identify key learnings and iterate quickly.
- Regularly monitor/track competitors’ movement from public relations perspective to understand and keep updated with industry trends, their marketing/business activities as references and insights for the marketing communications team.
- Manage to respond to media inquiries within their preferred timeline.
- Track spending accordingly for Malaysia’s communications division.
- Assist marketing communications team as and when required.
What we are looking for:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Public Relations, Mass Communication, Communication, or a related field.
- Proactive, independent, and self-motivated with a keen interest in public relations and communications.
- A team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.
- Good planning, organizational, and time management skills with attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Creative and eager to contribute ideas for public relations campaigns that engage and inform target audiences.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to different communication styles for engaging with various stakeholders.
- Basic proficiency in graphic design, content creation, and editing tools for press releases, media kits, and social media content.
- Enthusiastic about monitoring media coverage, assisting in media relations, and preparing reports to support PR strategies.
