Role Description
As a Conference and Event Producer, you will be responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of our annual conference, monthly online webinars, and regular members networking events. From planning and content development to logistics and on-site management, your role will require strong organizational, creative, and problem-solving skills. You will work closely with speakers, sponsors, and internal teams to create memorable, impactful experiences for all attendees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop event themes, objectives, and formats based on company’s overall strategy and objectives, market trends, and audience needs.
- Research and curate compelling conference content in consultation with industry expert, including identifying relevant topics, developing session agendas, and selecting speakers or panelists.
- Identify, acquire, and manage high-profile speakers, panelists, and moderators. Coordinate schedules, and logistics to ensure seamless speaker participation.
- Oversee the logistics of event execution, and managing all event suppliers.
- Prepare and manage event budgets, ensuring that all expenses are tracked and delivered within the allocated budget.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and other teams to ensure the smooth coordination of event details.
- Oversee all aspects of event execution on-site and ensuring the event runs smoothly from start to finish.
- Collect feedback from attendees to assess event success and identify opportunities for future improvement. Prepare post-event reports and analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in event production or conference management.
- Strong project management and multi-tasking skills
- Outstanding English writing and communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with speakers, vendors, and team members.
- High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Experience working with high-profile clients and speakers, would be an added advantage
- Knowledge of social media and digital marketing for event promotion, would be an added advantage
- Familiarity with sponsorship and exhibitor sales for conferences, would be an added advantage
