Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain all infrastructure including but not limited to servers, network system, storage and cloud platform.
- Monitor infrastructure performance and proactively troubleshoot issues to ensure continuous availability and minimum interruption or downtime.
- Design, architect, develop and implement necessary actions or area of improvement of new infrastructure solution to further improve the capability, performance, reliability, resiliency & integrity which compliance with industry standard and best practices
- Implement routine maintenance tasks to perform systems administration, patch management and systems backup
- Collaborate with internal team and external vendors for technical troubleshooting support, preventive maintenance, planning, implementation and resolution in network, hardware and software issues or faults.
- Participate in sourcing, evaluating, recommending and negotiating with solution providers and consultants on technical specifications, supports and services to establish good partnership and optimum service level to ensure user and company interests are protected
- Maintain, develop and follow proper system procedures, guidelines, reports and technical documentations to achieve systematic and consistent operations
- Perform any other tasks as assigned by the management
Technical Skills:
- Experience and knowledge in PC, server, network, communication systems and systems inter connectivity
- Problem solving and troubleshooting
- Risk and issue management
- Analytical, conceptual and strategic thinking
- Project management and implementation
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering/Information Technology or equivalent
- Proven experience in IT infrastructure management with good knowledge of Business IT Systems including application servers, email and web servers, windows operating systems and applications
- Familiar with SaaS / cloud technologies (AWS or Azure), Windows Server 2019/2022, Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365 services, Active Directory, DNS, Firewall, etc.
- Able to write scripting to automated processes using Microsoft Power Automate or other relevant automation and scripting tools will be a good to have skill
- Knowledge of ITIL and other IT service management frameworks
- Hands-on experience in troubleshooting, maintain and support on technical issues is highly desirable (network, server, computer and peripheral)
- Experience with IFCA.net system would be an added advantage
- Highly adaptive, initiative, able to multi-task and flexible in progressive workloads
- Good command in spoken and written English and Malay
- Possess own transport and willing to travel to support when required
