You will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Front Office, maintaining Front Office and brand standards and maximizing the quality level of products and services to achieve the highest guest satisfaction. This will include managing the performance of the team members: designing, implementing and monitoring the impact of training (including IT systems and guest service procedures) for all Front Office team members, capturing and implementing best current practice SOPs relating to Front Office operation. Manage the functioning of all departmental team members, facilities, sales and costs, to ensure maximum departmental profit. Drive the implementation of all sales and promotional programmes of the property, taking personal responsibility for driving upselling and ensuring the team has the most up to date knowledge of the property.

As the Executive Housekeeper, you will be responsible for one of the biggest departments in the hotel. Your influence on the team will ensure the delivery of an exceptional customer experience. You will be in charge of the entire housekeeping team and ensure due to your excellent knowledge and management skills that all guest rooms and public areas are sufficiently cleaned and up to the high standards. Further you will provide the team members with guidance and training , implement SOPs and ensure well maintained guest facilities.

You will be responsible for the successful execution of all hotel events,leading the service process from beginning till end. You will provide oversight and management from Sales Managers to Service Managers, and through to post-event follow up. Your key duties and responsibilities will be to ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction, and to maximize the returns for the resort. You will be a sales champion for the resort, following up on business referrals and sales leads to increase business, and to ensure guest satisfaction and solicit rebooking.

As we are diversifying our Spa treatment & menu, specifically the authentic and distinctive spa treatments from other countries, other than Malaysian nationals, we would like to open this Spa Therapist position for the candidates for all nationalities such as Indonesian, Thai, Cambodia, Nepal, Laos, the Philippines and all.

Operations

• To create the first positive impression to the guests by greeting them in a warm welcoming manner-by name addressed.
• To contribute to the high level of services in accordance with the company’s standard as prescribed in Standard Operations Manual. 
• To perform quality massage therapies and body treatments as prescribed in Standard Training Manual.
• To ensure that all equipment associated with service function at all time.
• To be able to answer all questions related to services and identify the benefit or advantage of treatments required to the guests.
• To assist with demonstrations and events as required.
• To participate in a new training and refreshing program as required.

Administration

• To update the Therapist Log Book.
• To complete all assignments stated by deadlines with the spa manager or supervisor’s guidelines. 
• To respond to the change as indicated by the company.

Policy & Procedure

• To have a complete understanding of and adhere to the company’s policy and procedures

As Safety & Security Manager, you will lead and spearhead all these initiatives below as mentioned. Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of everything that needs to be done.  Anantara Desaru Coast Resort &Villas' team members always find new ways to look after the business, their guests, and their colleagues.   Within this, the key responsibilities for this position are:

• Ensure the effective implementation of all operational security procedures within the hotel.
• Management and security oversight of all contractors, suppliers or vendors working on property.
• To maintain a close dialogue and relationship with local security authorities.
• Ensure that security officers provide a courteous and professional service to all customers, staff, vendors and suppliers.
• To monitor the car-park system and ensure its smooth running and security
• To vet the daily functions and VIP arrival list and to ensure that security officers are deployed as appropriate
• To account for the master keys of the property and their movements as well as key control in general.
• To keep the hotel senior management informed on all matters relating to the Security aspects of the hotel on a daily basis.
• Review and suggest adjustment to process based on current/future environments.

Incident/Emergency Handling

• Incidents and Emergencies are emotionally charged situation, particularly when there are allegations of theft.  All guests, staff or other people involved must be dealt with sensitively and professionally so as not to inflame the situation.
• To professionally conduct full inquiries and follow-up activities for all security related incidents.
• As required, to carry out formal searches on employees, locker rooms and place of work as directed by hotel management, with the presence of Human Resources Executive as a witness.  All people interviewed or searched are to be presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
• To organize the Security Fire Fighting Team in the event of an emergency.

Safety Function

•  Lead to uphold safety laws and regulations in Malaysia, create a safe work environment, and prevent job-related incidents at the hotel/resort. This includes conducting safety inspections, identifying potential hazards, and executing preventive measures.
• Train and inspire team members to follow our company's occupational health and safety protocols. Be responsible for investigating work-related incidents and injuries, providing comprehensive reports, and suggesting preventative actions.
• Additional duties involve gathering safety statistics, preparing reports, and carrying out other safety tasks.

We are seeking a professional and decisive Night Duty Manager to join our team at Anantara Desaru Coast Resort & Villas. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of hotel operations during night shifts, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and maintaining the highest standards of service and safety.

• Manage and supervise all night shift staff, including front desk, housekeeping, and security personnel
• Be the point of contact for any emergency, incidents and act as the overall in charge in the absence of senior leadership during the night shift in the resort.
• Ensure smooth check-ins, check-outs, and address guest inquiries and concerns promptly and efficiently
• Monitor and maintain hotel security, safety protocols, and emergency procedures
• Handle and resolve guest complaints and escalated issues professionally and effectively
• Oversee night audit processes and ensure accurate financial reporting
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction
• Conduct regular inspections of public areas and guest rooms to maintain quality standards
• Manage inventory and supplies for night shift operations
• Train and mentor night shift staff to improve performance and maintain service standards
• Prepare detailed shift reports and communicate important information to day shift management

You will support the overall Food & Beverage operation of the resort to maximize guest satisfaction, team member performance and business results. Your key duties and responsibilities are to promote and ensure guest satisfaction, maintain a safe and sanitary work environment and ensure only the highest quality products are being served, achieved through developing and maintaining a strong team environment, delivery of prompt, courteous service in accordance with brand and Food & Beverage standards. Further you handle daily team member relations, and encourage problem solving by team members through proper training and empowerment.

As Cluster Reservations Manager you will drive the performance of the reservations team on property. You will be taking the lead to all Reservations function of Anantara Desaru Coast Resort & Villas and Avani Sepang Goldcoast Resort.

You will ensure that all SOP's are being adhered to, responsible for training and coaching the team members and monitoring their performance. You will further be responsible for maintaining and improving reservation operations to ensure a high degree of accuracy in guest reservations, maximizing revenue opportunities and satisfaction of guests and team members. You will ensure the monitoring of daily arrivals for all guest requests to be carried out and communicated to. You will drive the communication to other relevant departments, all realistic expectations of guests are met, and reservations are honored. You will assist Revenue Management with inventory management, including maintenance of allotments, group blocks, and rate codes in all applicable systems. You will take personal responsibility for driving up-selling within the property and to ensure optimal use of all distribution channels, e.g. IBE, GDS, Tour Operators, Small Luxury Hotels, Regional and Corporate Sales Offices.
