- Oversee the daily operations of the rooms division, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue and minimize costs.
- Ensure compliance with all hotel policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Recruit, hire, train, and develop a high-performing team of staff members.
- Motivate and inspire the team to deliver exceptional guest service.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and feedback.
- Address employee concerns and resolve conflicts promptly and professionally.
- Ensure that all guest needs and expectations are met or exceeded.
- Respond to guest complaints and feedback in a timely and effective manner.
- Implement strategies to enhance the overall guest experience.
- Manage the department's budget and control costs.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance to identify areas for improvement.
- Make informed decisions regarding capital expenditures and operational expenses.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards.
- Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of service.
- Monitor guest satisfaction surveys and implement corrective actions as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in hotel management, with a strong focus on rooms division operations.
- Good organizational and leadership abilities.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- The ability to work effectively with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Knowledge of industry's legal rules and guidelines.
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or a related field.
- Strong understanding of hotel operations, including revenue management, sales, and marketing.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in hotel management software systems.
- The role often requires working irregular hours, including weekends and holidays.
