• Collaborate extensively with internal teams, validate design options through characterization builds, perform comprehensive DFX (Design for eXellence) analysis, including DFM (Design for Manufacturability), DFA (Design for Assembly), DFRW (Design for Rework), as well as Cost and UPH (unit per hour) analysis, review mechanical and electrical simulations, initiate assembly process flow, and deliver most optimized design for manufacturing with yield and quality.
• Ensuring build readiness, execute package qualification plan, follow up package reliability status, investigate and close failures on time.
• Monitor assembly and test yield on engineering/customer sample and low volume production builds. Drive yield improvement and manage excursions.
• Lead new product from low volume to high volume production transition with yield and quality meeting goals.
• Ensure FMEA, SOD, Control Plan, recipe guideline, SPC and other assembly controls are ready prior to high volume production.
• Lead new technology transition (new wafer tech/process/material) from engineering stage to volume production.

As a Test Engineer -Process, you will lead the Project improvement in Burn In area, and support execution and manufacturing issues related to Test Process, and continue improve manufacturing issues with new ideas from time to time through close collaboration across teams and disciplines. In addition, you'll drive Test Process improvements to make our systems more robust and scalable via systematic and proper tools.

As a Test Process Engineer, you’ll:

•Partner closely with product managers, NPI engineers, Assembly engineers, Manufacturing supervisor and QA to scope, plan, design, and build new features as well as maintain existing functionality.

•Hold your teammates—and yourself—to high engineering standards

•Leverage your experience and knowledge to grow your teammates’ technical breadth and depth through direct coaching and mentoring

•Identify potential problems and ensure quality related to Testing Process in manufacturing.

•Document and monitor testing outcomes and establish steps to remedy problems

•Detailed understanding of how to properly document test cases and create effective and focused testing plans

•Work closely with departments within the company for cost saving projects

•Provide detailed specifications for proposed solutions including time and scope involved

•Define clear goals for all aspects of a product test and develop steps for their proper execution

Position Summary:

The Sustaining Program Manager (SPM) leads & drives deliverables through Sustaining Core Team (SCT) with full program/s ownership by prioritizing resources to ensure sustaining products (higher volume products) consistently meet volume requirement, quality & reliability, engineering KPI and cost goals.

Responsibilities:

• Obtain customer-specific product requirements, assess and recommend engineering solutions, upon approval from SCT, drive execution to meet customer requirements in a timely manner.
• Define and drive product recipe ramp and depletion strategy that meets overall customer and WD business needs.
• Accountable and focal point to overall product cost for sustaining products with finance collaboration to define optimized product cost strategy and drive execution.
• Establish and maintain a business process to ensure support from product cost (sub category) owners to deliver to BCP commits.
• Collaborate with KPI owners to align and rationalize roadmaps ensuring consistent product strategy and execution.
• Monitor overall engineering KPI performance and support KPI owners to address gaps vs plan.
• Collaborate with quality team to define and prioritize product quality improvement strategy.
• Monitor overall quality KPI performance and support quality team to address gaps vs plan.
• In event of quality stop order, execute SSO process and lead core team to define containment, disposition, drives root cause and corrective actions that meet optimized business objectives.
• Participate in new product Manufacturing Readiness Review (MRR) and approve product release to assume product ownership in LVM.
• Participate in new product KPI underpinning strategy and ensure all KPI and cost roadmaps are aligned to execution capability in HVM. 

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or higher with Engineering related majors
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience and proven record in program or project management leadership position
• Experience with Semiconductor Packaging & PCBA (SMT) manufacturing and test processes.
• Familiar with Product Life Cycle and new product development processes
• Proven track record on people development & management; building, mentoring and inspiring a team
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, and to interact with a diverse group of individuals in a very fast and dynamic environments
• Ability to drive change and improvements within the team
• Result oriented leader
• Strong computer skills including MS Office products, MS Project and etc.
• Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal and presentation skills
