Under its massive expansion program, we are now seeking a diligent and experienced Business Development Executive - Laboratory to be based at the Johor Bahru & Kuching, Sarawak with an opportunity to develop a professional future career growth in the Group.

Responsibilities : 

• Manage and achieve team sales target.
• Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers via meetings, telephone calls and e-mails.
• Visiting potential customers to prospect for new business.
• Gaining a clear understanding of customers' business and requirements
• Understanding the market competitors' activities and industry trend to develop and implement a high growth strategy.
• Increase revenues from within the assigned territory and accounts through promoting and selling Bio Synergy laboratory technical and value-added services.
• Making accurate, rapid cost calculations, and providing customers with quotations.

Requirements : 

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or professional Degree in Science or equivalent.
• Required language(s); English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin (added advantage to deal with mandarin speaking clients).
• At least 2 years of working experience in sales or marketing in related industry.
• A team player, with strong planning, theory, communication, presentation and inter-personal skills.
• High level of integrity, dynamic, persistent, results-driven, positive, highly-motivated and willing to speak up and present her/himself confidently.
• Must be resourceful and able to work independently to meet job requirements.
• Able to perform good telemarketing and sales skills.
• Posses own car with valid driving license and willing to travel to outstation or overseas as required.

About This Role

As a Human Resource Executive, you will be responsible for handling the day-to-day administrative tasks in the Human Resource (HR) department. You will conduct recruitment efforts, onboarding processes, managing employee records and handling inquiries from employees and clients. You will also support various HR projects, as needed. It is a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the HR department and supporting the clients and overall workforce.

Responsibilities

• Preparation and submission of monthly and annual payroll and taxes for Company staff and clients - Singapore & Malaysia.
• Preparation and submission of monthly statutory contribution (EPF/SOCSO/PCB) for designated Malaysia clients on payroll services.
• Preparation and submission of monthly statutory contribution (CPF/SDL) for designated Singapore clients on payroll services.
• Assist in meeting clients’ presumptions and proactively working to ensure clients’ satisfaction and retention.
• Preparation and update of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for each department and designation.
• Monitor, update and in-charge of ACCA Approved Employer Programme for the company.
• Conduct recruitment matters including posting of job ads, shortlisting of candidates, arrange for interview and conduct staff orientation for junior positions.
• Oversee in organising all Appraisal and Evaluation exercises.
• Oversee the preparation and updates of training plans for each department and designation.
• Maintain and update employee records and handle inquiries from employees and clients.
• Maintain company insurance enrolment for new hires and leavers.
• Setup and monitor staff access to internal services, facilities and assets of the company.
• Conduct staff events and welfare matters.
• Keep abreast of all matters, rules and laws concerning labour, manpower and employee matters in Singapore and Malaysia.
• Keep abreast of all HR administrative matters.
• Any other duties assigned by Supervisor.

The Business Support Assistant delivers full Business Support in purchase order handling for the R&D, Quality & Food Compliance department, primarily for the team in Utrecht (Netherlands). The role sits with the Data Factory Team in Johor (Malaysia) and can involve also other tasks supporting Johor Malaysia Data Factory team when required. The Business Support Assistant works with the Business Support Assistant in Utrecht to handle all purchase orders.

There are two primary goals of this role: Support R&D daily business by handling of Purchase Orders for Utrecht and support operation of the R&D team in Johor.

Business Support – finance process

• Raise R&D Department PO’s within 24 hours in SAP System and process them throughout the Finance Process

• Maintain financial good practice when executing the R&D Purchase Order process.
• Maintain Vendor Invoice Management system with Accounts Payable to avoid delay in payment.
• Provide departmental support i.e. set up new vendors, increasing limit orders.
• Troubleshoot and optimize business processes for maximum efficiency
• Participate purchasing Business Process Owner meetings

Business Support – Data Factory team

• Support Data Factory team with other activities, e.g. specification creation, update, maintenance as well as other support in the Johor R&D facility.
