Job Summary:

The Production Clerk is responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to the production department. This role ensures that production records are accurately maintained, production schedules are adhered to, and communication between departments is effective. Key Responsibilities:

Documentation and Record-Keeping:

• Maintain accurate records of daily production outputs, material usage, and wastage.
• Prepare and update production logs, ensuring data accuracy and timely entry.
• Organize and file production-related documents such as work orders, maintenance logs, and quality control reports.

Production Scheduling:

• Assist in coordinating production schedules to ensure timely completion of production orders.
• Communicate with relevant departments to confirm material availability and production timelines.
• Monitor production progress and update schedules as necessary.

Inventory Management:

• Track inventory levels of raw materials, packaging, and finished products.
• Coordinate with the procurement team to reorder materials as needed.

Reporting:

• Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly production reports to management and other stakeholders.

Communication:

Qualifications:

The PDI Technician will be responsible for performing thorough inspections and testing of completed buses to ensure they meet all quality, safety, and performance standards before delivery to clients. This role requires technical knowledge of automotive systems, strong attention to detail, and the ability to identify and resolve any issues to maintain product integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pre-Delivery Inspections:

Conduct comprehensive inspections of buses, including exterior, interior, mechanical, electrical, and safety systems, to ensure they meet company standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements.

• System Testing:

Test vehicle systems, including the engine, transmission, brakes, HVAC, electrical, lighting, suspension, and other critical components, to verify proper functionality.

• Troubleshooting & Diagnosis:

Identify and troubleshoot issues found during inspections, using diagnostic equipment, manuals, and knowledge of automotive systems to repair or recommend corrective actions.

• Documentation & Reporting:

Record detailed inspection findings, including photographs and written reports, to ensure all issues are properly documented and communicated to the production team and management.
