Manage the shared service team for fixed assets, inter-company transactions and purchases process and assist on linking to accounts receivable and accounts payable in the APAC region. Convert more countries to share service model. Set up system and policies for the shared service centre. Be a team player to work within finance dept. and across depts & countries with key ties alongside local liaison person.
- Ensure Intercompany transactions are processed accurately and efficiently
- Work with the business to ensure new intercompany charges are correctly allocated to various regions based upon agreed rules.
- Provide support to the Commercial Finance team in intercompany budgeting and commentary on results
- Ensure accounts payable process is as per accounting policy
- Ensure the overall integrity of AP function across the group.
- Drive high performance in the AP team through managing and coaching the team and providing quality feedback. Provides clear direction and leadership creating a highly engaged team.
- Focus on process improvement practices to drive system, operational efficiencies and process enhancement in the AP area.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the department
- Monitors and analyzes department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Maintain fixed assets register including monthly data entry, running depreciation reports and monthly and annual reporting of expenditure by category
- Review PPE and Software impairment on a quarterly basis and ensure proper sign-off for any asset impairment
- Lead a high performing team. Drives high performance in the team through managing and coaching the team and providing quality feedback
- Ensures compliance with Isentia policies andstandards, and ensures compliance with all local statutory requirements.
- Education: Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Accounting & Finance
- Technical Skills: Microsoft office : Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Google suite, Accounting system - NetSuite, NAVISION
- Experience: 10 years plus finance & accounting experience and minimum 3 years experience in a finance shared services manager position.
- Personal Qualities: Attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines. Ability to lead a small high performing team. Ability to challenge the current process and make improvements.
- Communication & Language: Strong communication skills and organisational ability. Excellent written and verbal English.
- Ability to speak in other language will be an added advantage.
