Job Overview:

As an Assistant Head Baker, you will play a key role in supporting the Head Baker in managing day-to-day operations within the central kitchen. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the production of high-quality baked goods, ensuring the proper functioning of bakery equipment, maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards, and training junior staff. You will also contribute to menu development and help maintain inventory levels to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist the Head Baker in overseeing the daily production of bread, pastries, cakes, cookies, and other baked goods.
• Ensure all baked products are made according to the company’s recipes and standards.
• Assist in the development of new recipes, ensuring innovation and quality consistency.
• Monitor and adjust baking schedules to meet production demands and deadlines.
• Supervise and guide junior bakers and kitchen staff in their tasks, ensuring proper techniques and safety practices are followed.
• Train new staff members on baking processes, equipment usage, and hygiene protocols.
• Ensure proper delegation of tasks to ensure maximum efficiency and high-quality output.
• Ensure the highest quality of baked goods, from ingredients to finished products, including taste, texture, and appearance.
• Perform quality checks and maintain consistency across production batches.
• Handle troubleshooting of production issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Assist in managing ingredient and supply inventories, ensuring stock levels are maintained to prevent shortages or wastage.
• Coordinate with suppliers and assist in the ordering of ingredients and materials
• Ensure that all equipment is well-maintained, cleaned, and functioning properly.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation of ingredients and equipment.
• Assist with the maintenance of the kitchen’s cleanliness and organization.
• Work closely with other departments (e.g., front-of-house, delivery, packaging) to ensure smooth operations and product delivery.
• Support the Head Baker in implementing any changes or improvements in bakery processes.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a professional bakery or culinary setting, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Experience in large-scale or central kitchen operations is a plus.
• In-depth knowledge of baking techniques, including pastry, bread, cakes, and other baked goods.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of food safety standards and HACCP regulations.
• Culinary or baking certification or diploma is preferred, but not required if experience is extensive.

Job Descriptions:

• To provide technical support, planning and implementation of housing defects maintenance activities and tasks to ensure smooth running of management.
• Troubleshoot and solving emergency in the most effective and efficient manner with main contractor, Subcontractor.
• Liaise and coordinate with project personnel, Customer Relation Officer, Customer or end user (house owner) on scheduled and unscheduled maintenance/ defects issues in the best manner.
• To carry out predictive & preventive maintenance/defects works according to the planned schedule.
• Assist to develop and enhance existing maintenance/ defects program management to be more proactive manner.
• Comprehensive records keeping of all maintenance/ defects activities.
• Plans and implement daily, weekly, monthly and yearly routine maintenance/ defects programs and emergency recovering plans.

Job Requirement:

• Candidate should possess a Diploma / Advanced Diploma, Bachelor Degree, Professional Certificates or equivalent in Architecture,Property Development / Real Estate Management,Engineering (Civil),Human Resource Management

Qualifications

1.      Education: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering

2.      Experience: 4-5 years of experience in a consultant role within the civil and structural engineering field.

Responsible for realising stable and competitive operation in production area by means of Technology and Innovation approaches. Key activities include productivity and capacity maximisation; V-Cost reduction; packaging material development; resolves process and product quality troubles by providing technical solution.

1. Plan and execute production process optimisation; packaging material stable supply and quality improvement study.

2. Apply Industrial Engineering (IE) skills to improve work process and secure production capacity.

3. Plan and execute new cost improvement ideas for product GP improvement.

4. Provide trouble shooting supports to resolve product and process troubles to secure stable process operation.

5. Plan and develop project development schedule and experiment design in accordance with departmental plan.

6. Gather effective evidence and perform logical analysis to enhance work quality.

7. As project coordinator and collaborator across the departments and to manage overall project schedule.

Job Requirement:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree Bachelor Degree or equivalent in All Engineering fields.
• Required skill(s): MS Access, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint, MS Word.
• Preferably Junior Executives specializing in Engineering (Mechanical or Chemical).
• At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
