Job Descriptions:
- Closing of full set of accounts for company's clients in various industries such as trading of goods, service & manufacturing.
- Setting up new chart of accounts and data migration in accounting system for new client.
- Issuance of daily and monthly billing to clients.
- Arrange twice a month suppliers payments via online banking.
- Submit service tax once every two months via Custom portal.
- Correspond with clients on any accounting, audit & corporate tax related issues.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agent and government agencies such as Custom, Immigration Department, LHDN etc.
- Handle any ad hoc assignment as and when required.
Requirements:
- Business Degree in Accounting or equivalent/Higher Diploma in Accounting with a minimum 3-4 years of working experience in related field.
- Possess with positive working attitude, great personality, initiative, responsible, team player and able to work independently.
- Versatile, agile and nimble person who is able to handle clients from different industries and adapt different accounting software.
- Well-versed with accounting technical knowledge with various industries (ie. service, trading of inventory, manufacturing)
- Excellent customer service towards internal and external clients.
- Meticulous & detail-oriented personal with excellent organizational and time management skills and able to work under tight deadlines during monthly peak period.
- Proficient in writing and communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Mandarin-speaking candidate will be an added advantage.
- Candidates well versed with cloud-based accounting systems such as Quickbooks, Xero, web-based SQL and AutoCount will be an advantage.
- Candidates well-versed in stock management and invoicing using AutoCount will be an added advantage.
