A inside sales relationship is responsible for selling computer hardware, software, and networking products and services to businesses and organizations. The main duties and responsibilities of this position may include:
- Identify and qualify new sales opportunities through research, networking, and lead generation.
- Establish and maintain relationships with existing customers to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Understand customer needs and requirements, and recommend appropriate products and services to meet those needs.
- Prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotes, and presentations to potential customers.
- Negotiate terms and conditions of sales agreements with customers.
- Collaborate with sales engineers and technical support staff to ensure accurate and timely delivery of products and services.
- Keep up-to-date with new products and technologies in the industry to provide expert advice to customers.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.
- Attend industry trade shows and events to network and stay informed about industry trends and best practices.
Requirements for this position typically include a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, as well as previous experience in sales or customer service. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are essential, as is a strong understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking technologies. The ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines is also critical for success in this role.
