Roles & Responsibilities

• This role is on a call out basis and perform below scopes in line with API RP 2D 7 Company’s requirement.
• Carry out quarterly, half yearly and annual or any other Company set Inspections and Maintenance on all cranes at offshore platforms.
• Participation and compliance with the Permit to Work system.
• Carry out hydraulic hoses and wire ropes change-out program.
• Carryout corrective maintenance.
• Perform inspection on all lifting/rigging equipment on platform at set frequency and provide a detailed reports.
• Perform scheduled sampling oil & grease, analysis for crane equipment.

• Engineering Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5 to 8 years of working experience related to total maintenance of offshore pedestal crane and other lifting equipment maintenance.
• Experienced in offshore crane and lifting equipment & rigging operation, maintenance & inspection.

We are seeking a talented and motivated Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with strong expertise in either Python or Golang, proficient in Bash or Shell scripting, and extensive experience working with Linux. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in SRE principles. This role will focus on maintaining and improving the reliability, availability, and performance of our systems and infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure.
• Develop and manage monitoring, alerting, and incident response processes.
• Automate tasks using Python or Golang, as well as Bash or Shell scripting, to streamline operations and reduce manual intervention.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement proactive measures to minimize future incidents.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure infrastructure stability and efficiency.
• Participate in on-call rotations and manage incident escalations to ensure prompt response to issues

Requirements:

• Experience in SRE: Proven track record in a Site Reliability Engineering role, with deep knowledge of SRE principles and practices.
• Programming Skills: Proficiency in either Python or Golang for automation and tool development.
• Scripting Skills: Strong experience with Bash or Shell scripting for task automation.
• Linux Expertise: Extensive experience with Linux OS, including troubleshooting, performance tuning, and system administration.

Qualifications:

•             Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Golang, Java, or similar, focusing on operational efficiency.

•             Demonstrated experience in system architecture and design, prioritizing reliability, and scalability.

•             Strong understanding of SRE principles, including SLOs, SLIs, toil reduction, and incident post-mortems.

•             Experience with cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their operational management.

•             Strong expertise in Linux system administration.

•             Proven experience in troubleshooting application support issues with a focus on performance and connectivity.

•             Familiarity with networking concepts and effective troubleshooting techniques.

•             Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to operational challenges.

•             Bilingual with proficiency in mandarin preferred to liaise with mandarin Speaking clients.

Preferred Skills:

•             Familiarity with monitoring tools and performance optimization techniques.

•             Experience in scripting or automation for system administration tasks.

About the role

With growing customer accounts and demands in Aerospace, we are assembling a team of Customer Service Executives to deliver visibility, proactivity, optimization and high level of customer satisfaction to our major Aerospace account. Based in our Subang Jaya 4PL hub, the team of Customer Service Executives will be rostered in 4 shifts to ensure 24/7 availability to meet our customers' needs.

• Process customer’s orders/inquiries timely and accurately.
• Ensure customer’s orders are dispatched in the best route (transport plan) to optimize freight cost.

• Liaison with multiple parties including customers, overseas agents, etc for freight handling and/or other matters

• Handle shipping documentation (import/export / BL / documentation).

• Ensure compliance with customer’s Standard Operating Procedure.

• Communicate discrepancies/issues to team supervisor/manager when necessary.

• Consistently monitor emails and respond in a timely and professional manner to Customers and Appointed Service providers to provide full visibility to Customers.

• Responsible and familiarize with track & trace systems (LINK).

• Continuous update through communications on current statuses from Bollore network, international carriers, and subcontractors, troubleshooting any irregularities, and well well-prepared to construct information flows smoothly and timely to customers.

• Proactively request service failure reasons from the service providers' network and update Customers in the event of any service deviation from standard transport mapping.

• Ensure that contractual rates and agreed plans are always closely followed and aligned with Customers’ expectations.

• Work closely with OPM/RCM in preparing business review materials on a periodic basis (monthly & and quarterly).

• Lead periodic conference calls with the Customer's Control Tower or Key Contacts in reviewing the Dashboard Reports and time-critical shipments.
• Active participation in business reviews together with OPM/RCM to present our contractual performance and identify common service issues.
• With the support of peers, able to relate to the customer in transposing recurrence service issues.
• Carrying out any other ad-hoc work instruction requests made by the supervisor/manager.

The successful candidate

• Experience in transport management / freight forwarding (air operations)
• Knowledge in flow management/control tower / IFF contract operations management / key accounts
• Knowledge in freight forwarding, AOG and oversize cargo will be an advantage
