Position Summary:

Assistant Club Lounge Manager is to assist in the operation and manage the Club Lounge according to the SOP, in a highly professional and efficient manner to the meet the service expectations of the

Guests. To improve the efficiency and professionalism of all aspects of guest services.

Operations

· Be primarily responsible for all general club operations

· Ensure, in an efficient and effective manner, that the M Club staff meet requirement customer service standards and expectations

· Ensuring that M Club staff adhere to, and are held accountable for established operation procedures and ensure training requirements have been met

· Interact with the guest during cocktail hour to find out more about their needs and requirement during their stay

· Follow up on guests’ feedback

· Ensures all guests complaints are resolved before departure and where required, to follow up after departure

· Encourages guests to post on all social media such as TripAdvisor, Instagram etc and reply to feedback accordingly

· Respond to emergency situations using appropriate procedures

· Train, guide, coach and develop the team to handle day-to-day duties/tasks more efficiently

Guest Service

· Engage each guest as a unique individual and listen attentively to their requests

· Anticipate and address guest’s service needs

· Handling VIP guest stay experience

Duties and Responsibilities

• Be the advisor to Masters/ Chief Engineers on navigation operations, charts & publications supply, cargo operations, deck operations, technical/ engine room operations.
• Monitor maintenance system and reporting from vessels.
• Carry out and coordinate various audits, ship board inspections and risk assessments.
• Arrange classes and statutory certification status and surveys and inspections where required.
• Conduct investigations of incidents.
• Prepare vessels’ Annual Operating Budget
• People manager to Masters and Chief Engineers assigned to the vessel under supervision.
• Build and maintain good relations with Principals.
• A member of Emergency Response Team.
• Docking of Vessel

Requirements

• Diploma in Marine Engineering
• Preferably with direct ship experience (as Senior Engineer)
• 5 to 10 years of relevant experience 1-3 years of shore experience as superintendent is preferred, candidate with Senior engineer experience fresh from sea are welcome as well
• Ability to work within tight schedules under intense pressure and be able to offer best remedies for unanticipated incidents
• Able to work irregular hours including late at night, weekends and public holidays
• Must be able to board vessels or able to climb heights
• Willing to be exposed to external environment
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Computer literate and familiar with MS Office application software

• Ensure that all processes are well known to the Engineering Team and its stakeholders by providing and deploying Engineering and

• Collect, maintain and monitor the KPIs for technical debt for Engineering Teams

• Facilitate the Postmortem session for all projects and monitor the actions of improvements until its closure

• Ensure that the solution developed (HW and SW) is complying with both customer and company requirements with the required and expected level of Quality

• Support the development teams in identifying and resolving problems, assuring that the relevant processes, practices and applicable standards and regulations have been followed

• Analyze the data resulting from audits, return and customer complaints, alert and veto right, to prevent the risks

• Approve or make sure of the formal approval of the conformity of products and to be in charge of the follow-up of the complaints from the customers

• Contribute as required to project reviews supplying feedback by using the quality advices

• Support and verify tailoring activities of Thales practices and their result in the relevant existing documentation

• Support and verify the process implementation applicable at development level (HW and SW) with internal audits and/or follow-up

• Support the ISO 9001 and ASPICE certifications as well as the ACSMS adherence

Essential Requirements:

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering or technical disciplines or equivalent (Electronic is preferential)

• At least 5 years of Quality Assurance activities or senior experience in similar positions.

• Experience in Quality in Engineering/Development teams (preferable within Electronics/Telecommunication context)

• Process Analysis, Improvement and Deployment.

• Knowledge of Quality Plan/ Quality Inspection & Test Plan

• Knowledge of Quality Standards like ISO 9001, CMMI, ASPICE and ACSMS

• Knowledge of AGILE at SCALE (SW, HW, SYSTEM Integration)
