The focus of this position is to provide high quality, client centred care to reduce the hospital burden associated with foot and lower limb disease, and to support and promote good foot health practices.

The Podiatry Department provides care for both admitted and non-admitted clients across the South West region. This Grade 1 / Grade 2 role includes the delivery to the consumers of SWH a diverse case load of podiatric care, including assessment and intervention of the ‘high risk’ foot, wound care, biomechanical presentations, pressure injury prevention, falls prevention and ingrown toe nail care.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Integrated Business Planning (IBP) the role of the Supply Planning Manager is to drive the supply strategy and ensure that future supply volume schedules are fully supported by assumptions based upon demonstrated performance and capabilities. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders, including production, procurement, logistics and sales to develop and execute robust supply chain strategies that support business objectives and drive operational excellence.

The scope of the role includes, but is not limited to:
- Lead supply planning teams (Schedulers and material planners) to ensure demand and stock levels are supported through the production lines of their sites and manage the long term plan for their sites
- Identify, negotiate and resolve conflicts with respect to product availability and order-promising integrity
- Support a learning environment for the team, nurturing talent and ensuring a strong succession plan for the team while ensuring all team members are inspired about their work and responsibilities
- Prepare for the weekly / Monthly Pre-Supply and Supply Reviews and present/discuss; prior supply chain performance (drivers of misses and improvement plans), any supply constraints in delivering the latest demand plan (including change requests), present costed options to resolve constraints and propose recommendations.
- Create a master plan that can be used for detailed material and capacity planning as well as financial planning and manage capacity constrained lines through phasing or through business decisions to ensure IBP principles upheld with 1 number across all of the system.
- Analyse forecast performance and make recommendations to supply chain on inventory and/or capacity planning strategies
- NPD management and successful launches to support business growth
- Maintain planned lead times, lot sizes, safety stocks, delivery times, and order file data for all MPS items.
- Provide transport/logistics with a master plan to assist in distribution planning and work collaboratively when constraints on either side arise to optimise production and customer service.
- Work with Supplier Schedulers to manage schedule changes and materials planning as required
- Lead the continuous improvement efforts for their supply chains across functions

The person

To be successful in the role you will have demonstrated experience (at least 3 years) in a similar role, preferably within the FMCG industry. You will be Degree qualified in a Business, Engineering or Science discipline and preferably an external Supply chain qualification (APICS or similar). You will have experience working with integrated demand planning software and ERP systems. You will have a know-how and application of S&OP/IBP planning practices and processes and have proven stakeholder management skills at all levels along with proven track of people management.
You will have strong communication skills, be analytically minded and a methodical problem solver. Plena provides a 4 stage Clinical Development Pathway that educates and empowers our community OTs to service a greater range of clients whilst still maintaining the high standards of person-centred care Plena is known for. The program provides a highly relevant and practical set of modules, designed by experienced community OTs, allowing individuals to enhance and progress their skills. This pathway will provide you all the clinical and process support you need to have a lasting career with Plena. Your Opportunity: As a qualified Occupational Therapist working in a community setting, you will be joining a large and collaborative multidisciplinary team providing personalised treatments. In the role you will utilise your Occupational Therapist skills to provide clinical and therapeutic interventions that support positive health and wellbeing outcomes for customers. You will be supported by clinical treatment pathways that provides optimal rehabilitation and goal achievement for our consumers. Duties will include, but not limited to:

The consumers you will be seeing in the community are referred through the following government funded models, Home Care Packages, Short Term Restorative Care, Commonwealth Home Support Programme and Private funding.
We are not your typical community provider we set achievable billable KPIs (ask us more) and don't work within the NDIS
Provide comprehensive assessments and clinical recommendation to support consumer activities of daily living, mobility, and transfers, falls risk and prevention, equipment requirements, pressure area care and skin integrity management, arthritic joint management, and pain management.
Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to the needs of Plena and community-based providers to work within the scope of the Occupational Therapy profession.

Role Requirements
• Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent

• Current Victorian driver licence with a safe and reliable vehicle
• Undergo a police check
• Current First Aid and CPR certificate, or willingness to complete certificates before starting employment

• Greek speaking is desirable
