This position coordinates and tracks the compliance of all phases of trainings for staff with clinical management and operations responsibilities and duties and their direct supervisors throughout the entire medical center, in coordination with employee education, compliance, TMS, clinical services, ACOD/GPM program, and national program offices. Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Works as a member of the Ambulatory Care Operations /Group Practice Management Team to develop and administer training programs of the staff of the Ambulatory Care Operations /Group Practice Management as well as administrative 2 employees throughout the facility, outpatient clinics and CBOC;

• Serves as the primary Ambulatory Care Operations /Group Practice Management TMS coordinator for tracking of all employee education and training hours utilizing established computer system software and the Talent Management System (TMS) and uses this to prepare reports on the status of training hours and mandatory courses;
• Develops, reviews, analyzes, implements, conducts and evaluates training courses and programs related to ACOD/GPM areas of concern such as Eligibility/Enrollment, Access to Care, Beneficiary Travel, Fee Basis, Scheduling, Ward Administration, Admissions, Kiosks, Special Programs, Medical Records to include Scanning, Release of Information, Insurance Collection, as well as training on new directives and processes that interrelate within ACOD/GPM and/or with other services;
• Implements and updates clinical management and operations software enhancements related to clinical management and clinical operations; work closely with clinical and technical (i.e. IRM, Clinical application coordinators and HIMS staff) staff on training and education related to software; and

Job Description

You will contribute by:  

• Prepare and manage the third-party multi-million dollar security budget to ensure we stay within budget while also ensuring we maintain appropriate coverage at all locations, including making recommendations to improve current contracts and renegotiating regional guard contracts as they come up for renewal.
• Manage the internal security team and the 300 third-party plus security guards through periodic reviews and audits to ensure their performance meets the contract requirements.
• Manage and oversee the access control systems at all locations, as well as ensure trained and qualified individuals utilize the site-level systems appropriately to ensure safe access to those allowed and denied access to those that are no longer with the company. Escalation point to troubleshoot any systems errors and makes recommendations to improve/enhance systems.
• Conduct any criminal related investigations as situations arise at our various locations. This includes but is not limited to facility-level employee concerns as it relates to employee theft and workplace violence. Partners with local leadership, HR, and law enforcement when applicable.
• Manage and oversee facility-level security alarm systems for all warehouses, corporate offices, and retail grocery stores. This includes maintaining or establishing contractual agreements with the third-party monitoring companies that receive alarms for our various locations. Escalation point to troubleshoot any systems errors and makes recommendations to improve/enhance systems.
• Routinely travel to all sites to conduct security audits and site security reviews to ensure sites are operationally safe and secure. Keep site leadership and HR abreast of new security policies and procedures as well as emerging security trends.
• Partners with key stakeholders to implement security upgrades throughout facilities across the organization.

• Serves as an expert advisor for CIP compliance in the management and implementation of the NERC Reliability Compliance Program; liaison for cyber operations to address issues associated with compliance with NERC and Western Electricity Coordinating Council (WECC) electric reliability standards; provides technical expertise in the operation and maintenance of power generating plants and advises on the adequacy of existing equipment and operating methods.
• Provides recommendations and technical advice on the development, implementation, and modification of policies, guidelines, directives and standards, and technical documents related to reliability compliance policy; develops methods to objectively assess the condition of power facilities to meet NERC and WECC standards.
• Prepares policy documents, instruction to understanding, reports on progress and status of reliability compliance; prepares correspondence on all aspects of the reliability program to include data submission, status reporting, self-certification, registration mitigation plans, and violation reporting. Provides advice on compliance with WECC standards on generating and mechanical equipment, operating procedures and practices.
• Organizes working groups and chairs meetings; serves as advisor to regional power managers concerning reliability compliance, and liaison to hydro-industry utilities, area and power plant offices in developing methods to objectively assess the condition of power facilities to meet WECC standards.

Develops and manages processes to achieve organizational goals and expectations and makes decisions that produce high-quality results through applying technical knowledge, analyzing problems, and calculating risks. Ensures that human and material resources are effectively and efficiently utilized to achieve the Compliance Program objectives; continually appraises the assigned programs to ascertain if they are operating effectively and effects changes and improvements.

Evaluates goals and objectives; analyzes program areas to identify problem areas and those in need of improvement; and directs and evaluates special studies for the purpose of determining the effectiveness of all DEA programs.

Provides advice, guidance, and on-site direction and manages criminal investigations, special audits and management reviews; ensures that DEA operations, policies, regulations, and procedures in assigned program areas are in compliance with Federal statutes, Department of Justice directives, and applicable regulations and guidelines; develops policies, guidelines, standards and procedures for audits and investigations; coordinates activities and maintains liaison with all levels of DEA management, and with other Federal, state and local agencies.

Develops, monitors, and evaluates agency-wide priorities at the direction of the Administrator and Deputy Administrator. Produce and review position papers for the Administrator and Deputy Administrator on DEA policies and procedures and the compliance program.


Performs comprehensive policy analysis, planning, program evaluations, special studies, and surveys covering a broad range of DEA policies and operations worldwide. This includes the development and utilization of complex and sophisticated methodologies to assess the effectiveness of programs in attaining agency goals and objectives.
