• The incumbent will utilize expertise in clinical informatics to extract and organize data to enhance clinical operations in the domains of scheduling, clinic utilization, medical record completion, encounter completion, hospital gains and losses, Community Care consult closure/completion, Community Care budget, and Community Care access.

Performs a variety of administrative tasks and duties associated with tax administration.

Technical Work:

• Performs a limited number of administrative tasks using an automated system which involves assigning, maintaining, monitoring, or updating work status and inventory records; ordering research; acknowledging correspondence; maintaining, updating and initiating personnel records; timekeeping; and performing other support activity.

Job Description:

Minimum Qualifications:  

Experience with clinical systems and data management. Strong computer skills. Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook a must. Highly organized with proficiency in written and oral communication.  

Preferred Qualification:

Knowledge of Centerstone programs or a willingness to learn. Experience working in an organization, which provides behavioral health and/or addictions treatment services.

Essential Functions/Job Duties: 

• Enters data needed to meet federal and state documentation requirements.

• Identifies information system solutions that support more efficient and effective work performance based on knowledge of clinical functions and processes.

• Analyzes reviews and reports all Florida State Reporting statistics by working with departments when needed.

• Completes special projects as assigned.

• Coordinates with Team Leaders, Supervisors, and Administrative Assistants to gather information regarding program needs.

• Provides administrative and clerical services in order to ensure effective and efficient operations.

• Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Work Environment/Physical Demands: 

This position works in an office environment.  While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to observe treatment environments and to use speech and hearing to interact with others in person, via telephone, using computer technology and in writing. 

Position Type, Expected Hours of Work and Travel:

This is a full-time position, and the expected work hours are 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday day shift.  Some early morning, evening, and weekend hours when needed.
