MAJOR JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (List in order of importance)
Plans and schedules all distribution services.
Directs and oversees job assignments and plans daily labor schedules.

Audits operations to ensure service standards are being met.
Ensures current and accurate inventory control for each account.
Ensures that customer orders are picked and shipped in a timely fashion within prescribed cost levels.
Assists in ensuring the security of the facility, its environs, employees, and contents.
Performs other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES (Those necessary to perform the job competently)
Requires demonstrated skills in leadership, organization, and communication.
An understanding of warehousing operations is required.
Must be PC literate and have a working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Familiarity with computer systems, warehouse systems and computerized scanning equipment is a plus.

Pay Transparency:
The expected pre-tax pay for this position is
$115,900.00 - $193,200.00Actual pay may differ depending on relevant factors such as prior experience and geographic location.

The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. JOB OVERVIEW:
This position may work in a variety of locations within the warehouse and will be responsible for picking orders, shipping products, putting away product and checking orders for accuracy.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Picks product accurately based on the invoices; verifying product and SKU# while picking and ensuring that KPIs are met
Maintains daily individual production records as required
Packages orders by selected the appropriate size box or envelope for shipment to avoid the bending crushing or shifting of items during delivery. Packs all orders neatly and correctly to ensure quality.
Reports any error in product selection or quality to appropriate team member or area and/or corrects the order as necessary before shipment.
Maintains a safe and clean work area, disposing of empty boxes or packaging appropriately.
Performs other duties as assigned to ensure departmental goals are met.
Adheres to company policies, procedures and directives regarding standards of workplace behavior in completing job duties and assignments.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
Knowledge of basic warehousing operations preferred

We are seeking a full-time Branch Distribution Manager for our Old Lyme, CT location. The BDM will coordinate the daily and strategic activities of the warehouse operation, including but not limited to directing the Shipping, Inventory Control, and Receiving leadership in the following areas: receiving, storage, distribution, systems administration, inventory, sanitation, and maintenance. What you will be doing in the job:

* Sets / clarifies requirements and expectations for all the supervisors/managers. Measures performance, provides feedback, and holds them accountable for their performance and the performance of their areas and functions.
* Leverages the Managers by sourcing and nurturing ideas and rolling them into the creation of improvement plans for the functional area.
* Ability to multi-task, delegate responsibilities and oversee multiple priorities effectively

WORKING CONDITIONS

Ferguson is currently seeking an Operations Manager for our Distribution Center in Frostproof, FL. If you have familiarity and experience in warehouse management, order fulfillment, inventory control, process management, work-shift coordination, and are organized with great people skills, this is the position for you! This position entails leading all aspects of a 535k square foot distribution center with 118 hourly warehouse associates.

Responsible for the operational functions of the Distribution Center
Lead other projects as directed by the General Manager.
Responsible for developing Department Managers
Establish and maintain open lines of communication with all corporate associates, branch personnel and distribution associates.
Continuous review, evaluation, and audit of operational procedures and performance KPIs with the purpose of identifying areas for improvement or developing potential cost saving projects.
Build upon Departmental Goals monthly and ensure adherence to established KPIs.
Communicate, in a timely manner, steps taken to correct problems or ongoing issues.
Champion the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of organizational management protocols, practices, and tools
Drive safety, quality, and profitability to meet or exceed company objectives
Act as a strategic partner on the leadership team and liaison among different departments to improve operation results
Ensure warehouse operation is led with efficiency and success
Manage inventory control in our warehouse
Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, equivalent experience will be considered
5+ years' management experience in a Distribution Center / Fulfillment Center environment required
5+ years handling inventory / operational tasks
Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience
Ability to adapt and change processes to keep pace with the evolving business requirements
Outstanding organizational and leadership skills to reliably respond to urgent situations
Must be process oriented with good judgment and decision-making abilities
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability and desire to lead a team
A confirmed understanding of OSHA and DOT regulations
Proficient technical skills included but not limited to Microsoft O365 applications

Ferguson is seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Shipping Manager in our Coxsackie, NY Distribution Center. If you are a proven leader in warehouse management, order fulfillment, inventory control, process management, work-shift coordination, and are organized with great communication skills, this is the position for you!
This position oversees a team of hourly associates working a 1st shift schedule beginning at 11:00AM.
Responsibilities
Lead all aspects of daily shipping operations
Supervise and coordinate outbound shipments accuracy and timeliness with both product and paperwork
Ensure warehouse space is used optimally and kept clean and orderly
Mentor and lead team members in proper shipping procedures
Communicate with shipping clerks, HQ, and drivers regarding status of outbound shipments and changes to shipping schedules
Research and resolve issues involving purchase order and shipping documents
Ensure that all shipping documentation, freight claims, and correspondence with HQ are promptly completed with attention to detail
Promote safe work practices and resolve all safety concerns as identified
Establish and communicate performance standards to associates
Lead team in continuous improvement initiatives
Conduct counseling, mentoring, and performance appraisals as indicated
Provide recommendations for selection of new associates to join the team
Participate in regular communication and meetings of DC leadership to coordinate shift activities
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
3- 5+ years’ management experience in supply chain distribution
WMS and LMS experience strongly preferred
Understanding of OSHA regulations
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to prioritize workload appropriately in order to balance multiple demands and meet timelines as required
