ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The responsibilities to perform in this role include:
As required within the scope of their duty, be responsible for all associated documentation, including however not limited to, the following: Validations, Operations Procedures, Preventive Maintenance schedules, Engineering Change Notifications, spare parts listings, etc.
Responsible for the recommendation of capital equipment or process modifications, their physical installation, debugging and associated training of production personnel.
Is responsible for generating annual “Cost to Win” productivity ideas to reduce costs or increase performance in our continued quest for year over year productivity improvement.
Responsible for coordinating activities between equipment vendors, Division R & D and plant functional departments on their assignments and projects.
Responsible for the design and implementation of machine improvements and capital equipment project management activities.
Has an executable understanding of TPM and LEAN manufacturing tools and their use in combination with opportunity data to drive continuous improvement for productivity and/or exceeding budgeted goals. Leads and coaches LTAs and MTs in the use of these tools to always understand and address the top three issues on the manufacturing lines within their department.
Accountable for spending (capital or expense) within approved limits on programs.
The Duties to perform in this role include:
Assists in the preparation and submittal of capital appropriation requests projects as required. Prepares a three-to-five-year capital need strategy for their assigned production equipment that will keep operations running high quality in a reliable fashion.
Establishes which elements comprising a job are suitable for in-house fabrication or revision and which items would be best contracted. Secures quotations and selects contractors accordingly.
Acts as a safety leader for all technical associates and sets an example for safe work habits and rule compliance to always keep safety the number one priority.
Ensures that all preventative maintenance is completed on their assigned areas of responsibility in an accurate and timely fashion.
Assesses each unplanned downtime event for design improvement or potential changes to the PM to prevent similar events ongoing. Performs reliability opportunities and leverages learning with other engineering personnel for application online with similar opportunities.
Direct personnel in the troubleshooting and maintenance of cam driven mechanisms, pneumatics, and servo driven assemblies.
Has a clear understanding of the role of engineering in a manufacturing environment and the importance of their role in proactively driving and leading others for improvement to hit all SQDC related goals. Safety and Quality are always the first priorities, but mechanical engineers are expected to lead and drive reliability and consistency to achieve daily OEE and scrap goals.
Knowledge and Experience includes:
Has a solid knowledge and understanding of compliance with established plant safety standards. Including but not limited to: Lockout / Tagout, NFPA 70E Electrical Safe Work Practices, and OSHA Subpart “O” for proper machine guarding.
Has an applicable knowledge and ability to apply AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks for mechanical design improvements.
Possesses high mechanical proficiency and analytical troubleshooting techniques to quickly home in on the root cause of unplanned failures. Supports the plant manufacturing effort, with proven ability to identify problems and complete root cause resolution including preventative solutions to prevent reoccurrence.
Understands and employs solid engineering principles in part design, problem resolution, and while working with vendors. Uses solid judgement based on proper engineering calculations and data-based decision making.
Requirements include:
Required to have awareness of product performance and quality requirements within scope of assignments.
Required to develop a firm understanding of all equipment for which they are responsible for including set-up, adjustment, and assessment of improvements.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs other duties as required by the Engineering Supervisor.
Directs the efforts of support personnel such as machinists and technicians, etc. in the modification, adjustment, removal, and installation of new or existing equipment as required.
Job Qualifications
BA/BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of three years relevant manufacturing experience.
Six Sigma green or black belt certification preferred.

Job Summary
The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for following established instructions for the execution of specific tasks in a biotechnology manufacturing setting, including the execution of manufacturing orders. The Manufacturing Technician should identify potential problems and bring them to the attention of the supervisor. They participate in continuous improvement projects.
Duties & Responsibilities
Material Preparation per established procedures.
Perform inspection, verification for calibration and maintenance of equipment.
Maintains related logs and manufacturing records.
Performs area in-process testing as requested.
Reclaim and re-test of resins.
Performs daily working area cleaning tasks.
Performs packing, cleaning and equilibration of chromatography columns as requested and scheduled.
Maintains inventory of chemicals and lab supplies required for manufacture. Completes material order transactions in SAP system and performs the required inventory control activities to maintain accuracy.
Support set up and manufacturing activities for the following areas: tissue culture, purification and conjugation.
Processes cell supernatant to remove debris and to concentrate product before purification.
Formulates monoclonal antibody reagents using established documentation.
Manufactures buffers and solutions using established procedures.
Uses equipment such as pipettes, micro-pipettes, balances, pH and conductivity meters, and UV/Visible spectrophotometers.
Completes assigned manufacturing tasks.
Complete Filling & Packaging process by scheduling, filling, labeling, bagging, pouching and vialing for: pellets, purified and conjugated materials, as required.
Promotes a safe work environment by providing recommendations on maintaining the safety of the work environment, following safety procedures, participating in Environment Health and Safety (EH&S) programs, initiating a corrective action whenever a hazard is identified, notifying supervisor of all observed hazardous conditions or unsafe work practices.
Supports Quality Assurance by keeping abreast of the basic requirements for compliance in own area of work and aligns with those requirements, participating as required in training on regulatory issues affecting own area of work, bringing regulatory compliance questions/issues to next level of management.
Maintain good housekeeping practices.
Provide recommendations to support systems that continuously improve product/process quality and product availability, reduce cost, and increase production capability.
Participates in Continuous Improvement initiatives.
Performs other related duties and assignments as required.

Strong Mathematics skills.

The packer position is responsible for the packing and wrapping of finished products, in accordance with client packing specifications. The packer is also responsible for the movement of materials within the department and for storing or staging materials in designated areas.

12 Hour Straight Nights, Monday-Thursday running from 6:45pm – 7:00am.

WHAT YOU GET TO DO AS A PACKER:
Follows safe operating procedures and complies with all EHS and GPM guidelines to ensure that only the highest safety standard is maintained.
Performs tasks within acceptable limits for quality, quantity, sanitation, and timeliness of completion, paying particular attention to prevent and eliminate costly errors.
Checks and inspects materials received from prior operations to verify accuracy and conformance to specifications on Work order form.
Understands and follows basic packing instructions including: box pack, bulk pack, poly wrap
Creates packing documents in accordance to client requirements.
Operates a forklift to move finished materials throughout the department area.
Complies with sanitation guidelines and good manufacturing practices related to neatness, product cleanliness and personal hygiene.
Maintains a neat and orderly work area, in accordance to 5S Standards, by cleaning spills and disposing of trash on a timely basis.
Participates in on-the-job training and instruction to learn other job tasks.
Complies with Company policies and performing other duties as assigned.

The projected compensation range for this position is $65,300.00 to $149,000.00 (annualized USD). As a Principal Data Engineer you will:
" You will evaluate and apply powerful technologies (data science, machine learning, artificial intelligence, modeling, and simulation tools) to meet Supply Chain business needs.
" Transform ambiguous business questions into measurable and impactful insights.
" Collaborate multi-functionally with supply chain business partners to develop proof of concepts and modernize analytics and modeling applications for scale.
