This position will travel up to 60%.
The Network Engineer will support the network infrastructure in use in GAF Manufacturing Operations. This position reports into the GAF Operations Technology (OT) group. The Network Engineer will support the design and implementation of Ethernet based networking (wired and wireless) across the manufacturing environment following GAF OT networking standards. This position will require the incumbent to set up and deploy industrial and commercial switches, servers, and Windows based PCs into the manufacturing space. The individual will test and validate new technologies in networking. The incumbent will also work with plant locations to ensure implementation of those networks is in compliance with the GAF standards. The Network Engineer will travel to US plant locations to configure and deploy new network equipment (switches, servers, PCs). The individual will work with GAF preferred vendors in overseeing the installation of new Ethernet networks in North America manufacturing locations. The Network Engineer will also maintain and update documentation of each GAF Manufacturing OT network. The individual will also be responsible for applications that monitor the OT network and its systems. This position will provide troubleshooting and support of OT networks in concert with other members of the OT team to ensure rapid response of issues related to plant floor production networking systems.

What You'll Do
The Network Engineer will implement and support the wide area network (WAN) and local area network (LAN) for the entire corporation. Key Role:
Perform network engineering functions across IT infrastructure, systems, and services in support of network modernization, optimization, and integration initiatives. Provide technical expertise and support for each of the six steps of the RMF process. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $73,100.00 to $166,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.Work Model
