The Minneapolis VA Health Care System is searching for a Full or Part-time Physician - Neuroradiologist. Minneapolis VA is a 199-bed tertiary referral center located in the Minneapolis/St. Paul metropolitan area, well known for its cultural, educational, healthcare and sports/entertainment excellence. Our department of 20 part time and full-time radiologists currently performs approximately 124,000 exams annually. We have state of the art equipment in all modalities, including 320 slice CT and 3T MRI. A teleradiology service is utilized for after-hours coverage.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Position requires interpretation of CT, MRI, radiography; performance of LPs and myelograms; some general fluoroscopy, and participation in multidisciplinary case conferences.
- Consideration for teleradiology coverage.
We are a teaching affiliate of the University of Minnesota, and as such have daily interaction with radiology residents and medical students. The position may include a University academic appointment commensurate with experience.

Recruitment Incentive (Sign-on Bonus): Amount to be determined
This position is eligible for
the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific individual eligibility requirements in accordance with VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment.
Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) and eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after complete review of the EDRP application. Pay: Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases
Paid Time Off: 50-55 days of paid time off per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year and possible 5 day paid absence for CME)
