SUMMARY:
This role is responsible for change management within the Vendor Master environment(s). This role is a key business stakeholder to ensure successful integration of new business acquisitions and is the data steward for Vendor/Supplier Master Data. The role is responsible for leading, creating, analyzing and driving efficiencies of key performance indicators to successfully deliver against our Master Data Management and Procurement Goals (Procurement Strat plan). The Manager Procurement (Supplier Master Data) is responsible for leading and directing a team of Supplier master data analysts to achieve business process, financial, master data, procurement, and control management objectives. Results are critical for optimizing S2P performance enterprise wide, reducing risk, implementing requirements, and ensuring high levels of data integrity. High quality and governance are essential in accomplishing Business Unit and Enterprise-wide objectives and SOD compliance.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and execute change management plans, policies, and procedures within the Vendor Master data process environment.
Coach and train staff to create new vendors, perform maintenance and cleanse existing vendor master data. The Company’s vendor master data contains over 10,000 suppliers and supports multiple procurement departments in the organization as well as all domestic business units and operations. The vendor master data is contained in multiple ERP systems including SAP and Fresh Meats systems.
Partner with IT and other stakeholders to successfully integrate acquired entity’s vendor master data. This includes partnering with IT, business units, operations, shared services, suppliers, and project teams to assess readiness of integrations.
Coordinate with new team members from acquired entities to train and prepare them on the vendor master data process in SAP.
Analyze existing vendor master data of all ERP systems and ensure the harmonization of vendor master data across the multiple ERP systems.
Administer the vendor insurance requirements of the business
Ensure suppliers, business units and shared services comply with the Company’s vendor insurance requirements to properly mitigate the Company’s risk.
Create and analyze the key performance indicators of vendor master data and drives efficiencies for his/her team to gain efficiencies and bandwidth to manage additional vendor master data while maintaining a neutral headcount.
Meets the department’s cost center budget
Identifies process improvement opportunities, data enhancement opportunities, working capital opportunities with payment terms and technology opportunities to enable the business to reduce cost in the supply chain and reduce general and administrative and interest expenses.

REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience: 6+ years of experience, Knowledge of process excellence and project management preferred, Experience coaching and leading staff a plus.
Computer Skills: Advanced computer skills and SAP skills a plus.
Communication Skills: Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills
Special Skills: Strong attention to detail, proven team building and leadership skills.
Supervisory: Demonstrated ability to influence without positional authority
Travel: 4 to 6 domestic trips per year. Possible international trips in the future.
