POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the supervision of the Associate Director, the Research Assistant II will support the CHAMPS National program. CHAMPS is a hospital-based initiative that promotes evidence-based maternity practices, with the ultimate goal of increasing breastfeeding rates and decreasing racial disparities in breastfeeding.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage the day-to-day activities of CHAMPS National
• Help to develop training materials and set up staff trainings. Develop/administer surveys and manage survey data
• Contribute to the preparation reports, presentations and manuscripts for publication. Conduct literature reviews
• Participate in educational programs, reading current literature, in-service meetings, and workshops. Support grant proposals as needed.

Administrative Tasks

• Attending CHEER meetings and helping to draft agendas and minutes
• Maintain  records, reports and files as required
• Coordinate meetings, develop agendas, take minutes.

Other Tasks

• Participating in national and BMC-based groups that CHEER is a member of

EDUCATION:

As a Research Biologist, you will perform the following duties:

• Design and conduct research to develop new health assessment tools associated with targeted metabolomic and contaminant measurements. Perform analysis of chemical tracer data combined with physical and biological information to determine the effects of environmental stressors on the health and physiology of marine mammals and their prey.

As a Research Economist, you will perform the following duties:
